Excellente expérience au restaurant de l’Illwald. Le personnel est très agréable et les plats servies sont excellents et raffinés.

Today we wanted to spend the night at this hotel, unfortunately we were not welcome while we have labradoodle dogs that do not shed etc. it seems good to adjust the site to that only 1 (small) dog is allowed. Whereas now it says they are welcome. Missed Hospitality opportunity.

We read your comments about our refusal to receive you in our hotel in the same room with your three labradors with great attention. It’s not difficult to understand that it is not possible to impose the presence of three large dogs under any conditions even if they are the kindest of companions.

Familiär geführtes, sehr sauberes Hotel, Personal äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, Frühstück sehr reichhaltig. Gute Lage, um das Elsass zu erkunden.

Wir haben eine Radtour ins Elsass gemacht und hier übernachtet. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön uns super gepflegt. Eine echte Empfehlung! Einziger Manko ist die D424 die doch für etwas Autogeräusche sorgt. Aber im Zimmer dank Schallschutzfenster kein Problem.

I indulged on my short 1-night stay here in every sense: the food, the wine, the breakfast (which was at the table, a basket of viennoiseries & baguettes, ham, cheese & jams, fruit & yogurt, while eggs & cereals & toast are self-service) & the relaxing pool & spa. Set in beautiful grounds, this small ‘coin d’Alsace’ this family-run auberge is highly recommended. Rooms have character, from the smallest to the elegant & luxe! L
