From the moment we walked in and said “bonjour”, the blonde woman working there gave us a cold, unwelcoming look and completely ignored our greeting. My sister and I were polite, but she made it very clear we weren’t welcome.
We asked if we could sit in the more comfortable chairs (the restaurant was empty) and she rudely told us no. When we asked to sit upstairs, she again said no in a harsh tone, without any explanation. Throughout our short time there, she kept talking behind our backs to her coworkers every time we moved, which made us extremely uncomfortable.
When we finally decided to leave and kindly told her we’d rather go elsewhere, she laughed at us — as if our discomfort was amusing to her. It was shocking and incredibly disrespectful.
We ultimately walked out. No one deserves to be treated like this. The attitude and behavior we experienced felt discriminatory and deeply unprofessional. We will never return, and we don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and decency.
