Incroyable ! Exceptionnel ! Magnifique ! Les superlatifs ne manquent pas pour désigner ce gîte. Véritable capsule temporelle des années 50-60, on en prend plein les yeux. On plonge dans l'univers des courses automobiles qui ont marqué ces époques, mais pas que ! Avec une multitude d'objets de collection chinés propres à cette période l'expérience est unique à vivre. Un seul conseil : allez y sans hésiter ! Arnaud, le propriétaire, est un véritable passionné. Il a su créer avec beaucoup de goût un gîte très cosy, chaleureux et unique. On a déjà hâte d'y retourner !

Ps : un parking privé est attenant au gîte. Parfait pour venir autant avec votre auto de collection qu’avec votre auto de tous les jours

Nous avons passé 3 nuits a Classic Driver Home 2 (pour 4 personnes).
L'endroit est superbe et la décoration incroyable...
On plonge dans le sport auto des années 70...
Des détails partout...
Très beau parc arboré en bord de rivière.
Parfaitement placé pour le Circuit de Charade, Vulcania, Clermont Ferrand...
Bravo !!!

????: The little house is situated on the road to Puy-de-Dôme in the woods just outside Royat. It has a garden with parking spot and is well separated from the road, so it is a quiet place. At the back you can descend to a small river and when you cross it, walk through the woods to Royat or do other hikes. The house is very cosy and is packed with memorabilia of car racing. The small kitchen is complete (hob, microwave, oven, but very small table), there is an aircon heating system and a fireplace, a good shower, TV, DVD and bluetooth sound bar. We slept very well. For car (racing) enthousiasts, an added bonus is the library (books and DVD's) about racing. The owner lives next door and came to ask us if all was OK..
????: There is not a lot to complain about except maybe that we could not use the fireplace because of the smoke getting inside (the weather was wet), and the (aircon) heating system produces an annoying high pitch sound (not all the time). Don't bring too much of your own stuff because the place is packed with collector items about car racing)..
