Amazing food. The first thing we’ve tried was a simple grilled bread with garlic butter that was so fresh and tasty. Rest of the dinner was mouth-watering as well. Fresh produce, well seasoned stuffed tomato and green pepper, hand-cut chips (fries). Our main were calamari in tomato sauce with rice which were well cooked and delicious. We were told that it’s also the oldest family-run restaurant at the Island opened in 1953. Wholeheartedly recommend visiting. Every day Chef prepares different specials.

Not usually a person who leaves reviews but for this one.. I HAD TO!! we are visiting Zakynthos first week of April, so most amenities especially out of Zante are still preparing for summer season. However, thanks to our host we are eating at some nice local restaurants. But this one tops it all. When we arrived, again, since it is not in a touristic place as 30mins away by foot from Zante centre, we were the only ones. But this didn't make any difference to the quality of service and food! We had the portobello mushrooms as a starter shared between two, which were served with toasted bread which was seasoned with olive oil. Must I say they were the best mushrooms I've ever tasted. I then had the speciality of the day.. grilled octopus (super good) and fried calamari (I admit, I've had better in my home country in Malta, but still finished the plate!) My husband had the lamb chops.. for the whole 30 minute walk from the tavern to the accomodation he kept saying how amazing these were! We were also offered some bananas, apples and strawberries with honey on the house. For these 3 dishes plus one big sparkling water, 0.5l jug house white wine and a pint of Mythos just €60.50! If this weren't our last night in Zakynthos we would definitely visit again!!!

Κλασικό μαγειρείο ,πλέον έχει καθιερωθεί για το καλό του φαγητό και την πατριωτική ατμόσφαιρα.Πολυ νόστιμο και πολύ ποιοτικό φαγητό με καλές επιλογές και καλές τιμές.
Μπράβο στα παιδιά που το έχουν!

Wat een lieve mensen een een echte authentieke plek. We werden meegenomen naar de keuken om daar de gerechten van de dag te bekijken. Onder andere een gerecht met gele bonen en aardappels dat zo overheerlijk was dat we er nog een portie van mee naar huis hebben genomen. Perfect gegrild vlees en lage prijzen. Net buiten Zakynthos, weg van de meer toeristische restaurants. Voor ons een dikke plus. Je wordt met alle egards behandeld en ze doen echt hun best je het naar de zin te maken ????

Παρασκευή βράδυ παρέα έξι άτομα. Καλός κατάλογος με ποικιλία φαγητών. Εξαιρετική συμπεριφορά με ταχεία εξυπηρέτηση. Ωραίες σαλάτες και γευστικά φαγητά. Εξυπηρετικό το πάρκινγκ ακριβώς δίπλα. Λογικές τιμές, 40 ευρώ το ζευγάρι.

Το αγαπημένο μου εστιατόριο στην Ζάκυνθο. Πολύ λογικές τιμές, ευγενική εξυπηρέτηση και άριστη ποιότητα και γεύση. Από τα καλύτερα πιάτα κατά την γνώμη μου είναι η μπριζόλα τους αλλά και το γεμιστό μπιφτέκι με κουκουνάρια και λιαστή ντομάτα (θεϊκό). Μπράβο σε όλο το προσωπικό.

Nog een authentiek restaurant waar de lokale graag komen eten. Geen haast hebben en het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Enorme porties met lage prijzen.
