Beef stake was juicy and grilled nicely as a medium well stake, meatpie was fine, the waiters were polite but most important of all the lady who cooks came out for a feedback on her food and was really interested on our opinion, polite and professional. The dessert that we were treated was unexpectedly tasty, milk pie that rarely one finds! The wine (bulk) was quite pleasent. Prices were reasonable, overall value for money experience for sure.

Gave us a taster of the lemon and garlic mash - really good, and goes really well with fish apparently but we had it with the battered feta starter - perfect! Loads of choice for veggies and the goat was superb, just fell off the bone. Great service and chat and the free lemon mousse to finish was just great. Went on recommendation of Rough Guide and they are spot on. Drinks, starter and mains for 2 @ E38! Fantastic food and great VFM at the same time!

We always like to come to Makis it feels very authentic and the food is delicious. Lots of vegetarian or vegan options too.

A rustic treat for an unbeatable price! If you want to avoid the coastal prices and eat some awesome authentic Greek barbecue then Makis is the place to go!
