Unvorstellbar das dieses Restaurant 4,5 bekommt.Villeicht für einen guten service,sogar Wasser für den Hund gab es sofort.Gute Lage
Die Vorspeise zusammengestellt aus ein billig Wurst und frisches gemüse.
Hauptgericht eine unverkennbare tomatenbrei mit mini lammstückchen.
Es ist schade das kein verlass mehr ist auf bewertungen.

Ate here a few times whilst on hols as was our favourite restaurant. Lovely people and the food and wine was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for both fish and meat courses.

Taverna caratteristica, titolare simpaticissimo , menù anche in italiano, piatti buonissimi. Consigliata Mussaka, polpettine di zucchine, formaggio fritto ricoperto di miele e semi. Prezzi buoni! Consigliato :)

I had the sea bream with tomatos and potatos in a delicous garlic sauce. It was excellent! One of the best fish dishes i've ever had!
The staff was super friendly and they serve a very small drink after the dinner which was amazing. I think it's something with plum and cinammon. Loved it!
Would defenitely recommend it!! Don't miss it ;)

Вкусно, приятно, радушный владелец. Тихая музыка, уютно. Рекомендую попробовать саганаки с медом и кунжутом, мясной пирог.
Добавляю в 2022 году. Предыдущий отзыв был в 2017). По прежнему вкусно, приятно и доброжелательно. Рыба лаврак - замечательная. Рекомендую посетить.

Great family run taverna. We were made to feel very welcome. Ate here twice. Excellent moussaka and veal chops.

Excellent taverna with great, no frills food. The seafood especially is great, the swordfish steak was so good, as was the courgette balls.

We went here on night 1, and were a little apprehensive as it looked near the road on the map, but needn't have been - you are high up, music is playing, surrounded by plants and flowers - it's all skilfully done, very relaxing, very friendly, and you are just... taken care of. They clearly take pride in the food, which was beautifully done - anchovies were salty and sharp, tomato salad was chunky and sweet and lamb kleftiko was slow cooked with potatoes and cheese to perfection that left me like Sally in NY. We'll be back for sure.

Non lasciatevi ingannare dalle apparenze: Melissani non è una mangiatoia per turisti. Menù vario, servizio veloce e attento, siamo tornati due volte: pesce spada ottimo e con porzione degna di questo nome, la Moussaka cotta nel coccio la migliore mai mangiata!

Sorpresa positiva. Pensavamo potesse essere un luogo molto commerciale, invece hanno la miglior Moussaka dell’isola, sia di carne che di verdure. Il pesce è fresco e abbondante. Prezzo sopra la media.

The food was great overall, we were a group of 10 people there and we ordered different foods, everyone being overly happy with the food quality. there isn't much of a view, though the mountains near the city make you a little nostalgic. Also, the serving was on point, we also got sauces on the house at the start and also toasted bread.
Finally, this restaurant owner was one of the nicest we've ever encountered. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Edit: We also got watermelons on the house, so it actually deserves a 6 star rating

Mangiato benissimo, tutto estremamente buono dal primo al dolce.

Buon cibo ma con un costo leggermente sopra la media. La mussaka 12€ rispetto ad un altro posto che era a 8.50€. Insalata greca 8.50€ ma una porzione non grandissima. Buona la carne.

Cibo buono, personale cortese. Prezzi appena sopra la media, ma la qualità e le quantità giustificano la differenza.

From Sami is very easy to everywhere in Kefalonia to all beaches.Near apartments we have all we need bakeries, supermarket the port for night walk and good tavernas.
