Great traditional Greek fayre. My family and I came twice for dinner in the four days we were in Argostoli. Both times the food was great and the service was pleasant. You are invited inside the restaurant to choose from a selection of dishes of the day (about 6 choices when we went). I had moussaka (which I would not normally choose in a taverna because I usually go for grilled meat and kebabs) but it was excellent. It's probably the best moussaka I've had. The also had a nice dessert consisting of Greek yoghourt topped with cinnamon an honey The prices were reasonable as well. Recommended.

Food is OK.. but just ok, because its already cooked like in bistro.. you choose and they warm it up for you... But its fast..

Tradicional culinária grega deliciosa! Foi um dos melhores almoços que tivemos na viagem! Como um peixe muito fresco, já que a peixaria é literalmente ao lado do restaurante! Delicioso! E o atendimento é sensacional, muito bom mesmo. Uma atendente muito simpática nos ajudou a escolher o prato e a inclusive traduzir alguns itens do cardápio que não estávamos entendendo em inglês. Ela prontamente usou o Google translator e graças a isso comemos a melhor salada de repolho e cenoura da minha vida, na qual recomendo 100%!

My friend and I found this Restaraunt while walking along the waterfront in Kefalonia. My friend is Greek and knows authentic Greek food when she sees it, and this Restaraunt was exactly that. I wish we had caught the name of the woman who welcomed us in and explained the "live" menu- everything was displayed in the counter inside and then made to order. It was some of the best food I had during my month in Greece and you have to stop here when in town!

There was a blackout in Argistoli whilst we were there and the staff were so accommodating, and the food we had was brilliant and such good value for money

Τα πέντε αστεράκια είναι λίγα!
Μπράβο σε όλα τα παιδιά που φροντίζουν για το υπέροχο φαγητό και την άψογη εξυπηρέτηση! Λίγα φαγητά και καλά!
Σπιτικές γεύσεις, άριστα υλικά, γενναίες μερίδες, λογικότατες τιμές, ευγενικά και φιλικά τα παιδιά στο service!
Δεν έχω ξαναδεί τόσο χορταστική και λαχταριστή χωριάτικη σαλάτα !!!

Absolutely marvellous oasis of wholesome Greek food at very affordable prices! Agree totally with very recent reviews. You are taken to the cooked food counter to select your meal. Eyes bigger than belly- but the sea bass (even for those who vaguely like fish) is a must and the moussaka really tasty with good hint of cinnamon and lovely light béchamel top.

PERFEKT damit ist eigentlich alles gesagt. Griechenland wie es früher überall mal war. Gutes Essen, authentische Umgebung unter Griechen. Besonders möchte ich das SEHR freundliche Personal erwähnen.

Lovely family run restaurant/bar used by locals & tourists. We've used it several times on different visits to Kefalonia and always found it really good and the staff great. Would definitely recommend and good value.
