I was served bad (had gone off) octopus. I literally spit it out on my plate because I realized I shouldn't eat it. The server (elderly man, owner, manager?) cleared my plate without commenting on the fact that I've hardly eaten anything and there was pieces of food spit out on the plate. I had to wave down another waiter to tell them the octopus was off. She did not seem surprised at all..
They brought me the bill with the full amount, no compensation or discount what so ever. When I asked about a discount for being served ineatable food, the waitress just told me there was nothing she could do about it.
I left 60€ poorer (starter, main, a beer and water) and still hungry.
The food I did eat (the starter and part of the main) was exceptionally bland and overcooked. The vegetables had been boiled to a mush.
it's unethical to serve this food.
