Perfekter Ort, wenn man gleichzeitig die Nähe zur pulsierenden Altstadt und gleichzeitig eine Ruheoase sucht.

Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet und sehr gepflegt.

Das Personal war sehr professionell, gleichzeitig freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Eine spontane Umbuchung wurde unkompliziert ermöglicht, ein Upgrade auf ein besseres, freies Zimmer wurde vom Hotel aus eigenständig vorgenommen.

Normalerweise mache ich selten Bewertungen, aber dieses Hotel hat es verdient. Gerne wieder!

Quiet location in old town, very nice and relaxing place to stay. Wonderful service from very helpful staff. Very good breakfast included.

This is a charming place to stay, located in a quiet part of the old city with friendly helpful staff who gave us great recommendations about places to eat, and also what to do over the Orthodox Easter days. Extra thanks to Lena and Duncan for their help and suggestions! The hotel is actually a 500 year old building that was renovated over many years in consultation with the archaeological authorities in Greece, and has preserved many of its beautiful original features, such as the stonework and the gorgeous Ottoman era feature which is now the library area. There are new modern features but done in ways that complement the medieval features of the building. The room we had was spacious, with a separate bathroom and sitting area to the bedroom, all of which were kept very clean each day. There was a TV and wifi in there too. The furniture is also really tastefully chosen, much of it is antique wood. The garden is also a peaceful place to sit, and very nicely designed with the arrangement of plants around a very old big tree that will provide some shade on the hotter days. I was there in the spring and it was a bit chilly most days so only used the garden on the one sunny day! The breakfast is very tasty and freshly made each day with ripe fruits and yoghurt, fresh bread jams and honey on the menu as well as cooked breakfast options. It always left us happy and well fed for the day's adventures. I really recommend staying here if you want something a bit special and uniquely in tune with the medieval history of the city. The location is great, close to the heart of the old town but not on a noisy street, off a quiet side street (see photo). Tip: let them know in advance when you will arrive as only residents' cars can enter the old city without advanced permission. Transfers can be arranged with their help but give them a bit of time to arrange the permit for the driver. Enjoy your time there!
