Es una taberna con terraza, situada en una roca encima del mar. La comida está riquísima. Fuimos dos veces y probamos los calamares, la ensalada Melina, los spaghetti con almejas y los spaghetti boloñesa. Salimos a 15€ - 20€ por persona bebiendo agua. Los camareros son muy agradables y además, los más guapos de Santorini. En definitiva, un sitio súper recomendable.

Fabelhafter Laden, direkt am Meer gelegen. Wir waren hier an 2 Abenden und einmal Mittags essen, das Essen ist frisch und authentisch, alles was wir probierten war lecker. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an fangfrischem Fisch, auch die Salate und Vorspeisen haben uns geschmeckt. Die Bedienung ist unfassbar freundlich, wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit wohl gefühlt. Auch unsere beiden Hunden waren herzlich willkommen.

We visited for some drinks in the afternoon with some chips and deep-fried feta. It was pretty good so we went back in the evening for our main meal. We had a stuffed calamari, a salad that had figs snd cream cheese, and the honey octopus on mashed potato. The dishes were all pretty good, but the honey octopus was definitely very vinegary, and didn’t taste like honey at all. The staff work kind enough to offer a replacement, but we were running late for a bus

Melina's is a hidden gem... I would give it a five star all they way. The food was extremely well prepared and the presentation is outstanding. Kudos to the chef and staff.

The garlic bread and tzatziki were delicious. The octopus was tasty but quite chewy. The prices are decent and the sea view very pleasant.

Even though the tavern is focused on sea food, they had plenty vegan options!
The waiter explained us, which dishes can be made vegan on request (even offering us vegan feta for salads) and offered us a meal not on the menue: vegan moussaka.
Of course we had to try it, along with the classics such as tomato keftedes and fava. Everything we ate was delicious and the prices were fair.
Also the Location is awesome, first row is 3 meters from the water and the bus station is almost as close.

Taverna molto suggestiva, praticamente a riva di un mare fantastico.
Cibo buono prezzi normali per il posto, circa 15/20 euro a portata ...
Buono da provare, spaghetti e vongole buoni se non fosse stato per il tanto vino usato nel condire davvero ottime.
Pepata di cozze stesso discorso, molto vino e poche nella porzione, ma tutto sommato buone

A fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant around Akrotiri area!

We found this place while on a walk after visiting the excavation site and we glad we did!
Great spot, delicious food and great prices! Service was also very good.
We has steamed mussels as starter, grilled sea bream and seafood orzo for main. They were all very tasty and just enough salt. I noticed with grilled sea bream, often times it became too salty, but not at Melina’s Tavern. We’d be gladly dine here again if we ever in the are again.

Fully recommend this place!!

With a romantic setting by the sea front, the food and service is excellent. A variety of fish, meat and vegetarian options.

Super cher et pas très bon ! Le poulpe caramélisé était froid et remplie d’eau. Les pâtes aux palourdes étaient bonnes mais les palourdes avaient disparus en chemin. La fava était sans goût et super liquide. La fêta frite était très bonne !

Belle surprise
Nous avions été le soir précédent chez Nikolas. C'était bon sans plus mais déçus par l'accueil. La nourriture n'avait rien d'exceptionnelle, grosses quantités qu'on arrive pas à terminer. Sardines, anchois poisson blanc... tout est cuit de la même façon. Chez Melina, l'accueil est beaucoup plus chaleureux. La nourriture était juste excellente, plus de finesse et mieux proportionnée (juste quantité). Vraiment on recommande.

Très très bon restaurant
Restaurant très chaleureux avec vue magnifique sur la mer, ambiance relaxante avec une petite musique en fond. Plats délicieux et serveurs très sympathiques, Je recommande !

Taverne Melina's à Akrotiri/ Santorin.
A priori simple et sympa, à quelques mètres de la mer...
Ils affichent à côté du menu un article du petit futé (année ?) ventant leur poulpe séché et les sculptures du patron.
D'autres restos font aussi sécher le poulpe au soleil. Je ne sais pas si la recette est bonne, mais c'est le plus mauvais endroit où nous avons mangé du poulpe grillé ! (très dur + sauce au vinaigre).
Et le poisson servi en filet ne devait pas être pêché du jour...
On est peut-être mal tombé ce jour là ?
Les sculptures du patron sont intéressantes, mais on était venu pour diner ...!

Trés décevant cette année. Le poisson est frais mais servi avec des légumes froids du matin (ou de la veille), sans présentation et trés cher. Seul l'endroit est agréable.
