Beautiful restaurant in Hydra overlooking the sea, and certainly a great position to view the sunset. We attended an early dinner here in mid-October, arriving at 6:30pm to view sunset at 7:00pm. The service was great, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. While the more local taverns offer a great day-to-day experience for an authentic meal, our meal at Sunset was a standout and a great and memorable aspect of our time on the special island. Blankets are available to shield one from the cool evening air.

Beste restaurant på Hydra. Dyrere enn de fleste, men høyere kvalitet på alt. Beliggenheten, utsikten, solnedgangen, servicen og ikke minst maten. Min man spiste de beste rekene ever og jeg spiste en nydelig biff. Vi kommer garantert tilbake????

A must for sunset dinner! Amazing view, sadly, when we went there it was the only overcast day of our trip. The guys were still great. Good menu with smoke choices. Red snapper was very tasty and nicely presented.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Hydra, much better than Omilos or “η ωραία Ύδρα» (beautiful Hydra) that often compare to it in reviews and guides.

First the setting is unique, with a clear view to the sunset. Water views are available from most tables, and the tables are generously spaced between them, they are not crowded at all.

The service is professional, with severs addressing each other with Mr. and Mrs. last-name and working together.

Lastly the food. It is simple and exquisite. No unnecessary sauces or complex lists of ten ingredients we plate. Excellent raw materials and perfect executions. The octopus was the best we’ve ever had - so tender. And the Hydra squid (at 60€ per kilo) was amazing.

Fantastisk restaurang, god mat, bra urval av dryck. Helt otrolig utsikt och som namnet anger en fantastisk plats att se solnedgången. Servicen var klanderfri. Ett mycket mysigt och trevligt ställe. Rekommenderas verkligen.

Πολυ ωραίος χώρος με απίστευτη θεα στο ηλιοβασιλεμα. Πολυ καλο σερβις και ευχάριστο προσωπικό.
Ενδιαφέροντα πιάτα και γευστικά. Οχι ομως τοσο που να δικαιολογούν και τις τιμες. Βεβαια πληρωνεις και την θεα.
Τελος θεωρω μεγάλο φάουλ συγκεκριμένα για τετοιο εστιατόριο να μην ειναι καθαρισμένο το έντερο απο τις γαρίδες.
