This is a classic in Thessaloniki's food market. You should definitely try the beef tripe soup called "patsas" which is traditional Greek delicacy especially after a night of heavy drinking. ENJOY!

Patsas: Tripe soup or tripe stew is a soup or stew made with tripe (cow or lamb/mutton stomach). It is widely considered to be a hangover remedy. Its origins are in Greece, Turkey and Romania.
Magiritsa: Magiritsa is a Greek soup made from lamb offal, associated with the Easter (Pascha) tradition of the Greek Orthodox Church. In some parts of Greece, most notably Thessaly, it is not served as soup but rather as a "fricassee", where it contains only offal and large variety of vegetables, but no onions or rice, as in the soup.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Thessaloniki. I adore their 'iskembe' (tripe soup) and 'dolma' (stuffed paprika or tomato with rice). The staff is friendly and helpful. If you appreciate homemade-style local cuisine, especially offal dishes, then this is the perfect place for you.

Perfekt für den Mittagstisch. Perfekt, wenn man sich so fühlen will, wie bei Mutti zu Hause. Zu jeder Tageszeit, zu jeder Situation einfach handfeste griechische Hausmannskost. Dazu noch unglaublich nettes Personal, man fühlt sich einfach wie in seinem Wohnzimmer.
