L'hotel è molto centrale, si trova a plaka a pochi passi dalle attrazioni e dalla vita notturna. Noi eravamo in 3 ci è stata data una camera con 2 letti singoli e 1 matrimoniale; la stanza era piccola ma giusta come spazi per tre ragazze che la usano solo per lavarsi e dormire... mentre il bagno era minuscolo con lavandino impraticabile quasi. La zona è comunque silenziosa anche se si tratta di zona centrale. La colazione niente di ché, molto semplice e basica come prodotti.

Really lovely people and fabulous location, room was v small but bed was fantastically comfortable and I slept incredibly well. Balcony was huge and will be fabulous in summer. Lovely owner gave me a piece of cake whilst I sat in reception, a lovely surprise. Will deffo go back next time in Athens

I arrived very late after being delayed 6 hours in Amsterdam. Luckily, they have 24 hr reception. However, I had to ask for help getting my luggage through the heavy security door despite the front desk guy watching me struggle. He did redeem himself by helping me with a broken luggage lock. Additionally, the front desk was not useful in helping me with late night food and I had to go to bed hungry. The room WAS THE SMALLEST HOTEL ROOM I have ever seen. It smelled of decay and chemicals so bad that I had to sleep with the door open. Even then, I had a headache. There was mold in the shower and the water wasn't very hot. Overall, I think this may have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Stayed two nights until yesterday morning - at the end of Autumn - and woke up the second morning with bug bites. Noticed redness but not swelling until later that day so it was not reported.

Other than this, location is great, space is adequate for the price. Rather noisy and able to hear conversations, footsteps and slamming doors in the hallway.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!!! My husband and I have stayed at the Adam's Hotel twice. We arrived early in the morning. We were able to set the luggage aside until the room was ready. Staff we polite. Rooms are small yet comfortable with a balcony (keep in mind it is a historic area). The terrace view is beautiful, especially at night of the Acropolis. Location is a quick short walk to many shops and restaurants. They sell hop-on hop-off bus tour tickets, which take a full tour of Greece main attractions. Highly recommended staying at the Adam's Hotel it was a hidden gem!!

Nettes Hotel mit direkten Zugang zur Altstadt/Plaka von Athen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Wir waren auf Durchreise mit jeweils einer Nacht bei An- und Abreise unserer Rundreise. Mit unseren großen Koffern wurde es sehr eng in den Zimmern.
Die Zimmer sind vorwiegend zur Frontseite raus und sollten eigentlich ruhig sein. Das Hotel liegt ja in einer Seitengasse ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Aber die Nachbarn von Gegenüber sitzen bei warmen Wetter scheinbar jeden Abend draussen und reden so laut, das an Schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster nicht zu denken ist.
Das Frühstück ist einfach, wie in Griechenland typisch. Toast, bisschen Wurst und Käse, Marmelade, Honig, Müsli, Gurke, Feta. Kaffee und Tee nicht zu vergessen. Nichts besonderes.
Die Lage ist aber sehr gut. In wenigen Schritten erreicht man einen Platz mit typischen griechischen Restaurants. Die Altstadt, auch Plaka genannt, ist ein Highlight von Athen und lädt zum Schlendern und Verweilen ein. Die Akropolis ist in nur 15 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen.
Grundsätzlich wird vor Taschendieben in Athen gewarnt!
