Very clean and tidy hotel in the center of Athens very close to acropolis and plaka. Nice services and breakfast and price.

Hotel con bella vista sull'acropoli. Il mangiare è il servizio sono discreti,mentre le camere molto rumorose e troppo calde. Colore che non si può regolare quindi bisogna dormire con le finestre aperte e visto la posizione, non si dorme tutta notte!!!!

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Attraktionen im Zentrum sind fußläufig erreichbar und das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmereinrichtung ist tatsächlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür bekommt man hier oft deutlich bessere Angebote als bei anderen zentral gelegenen Hotels in dieser Klasse.

Buena atención por parte del personal, te hablan en inglés, y un poco en español.
La habitación muy cómoda, lo único malo es que el aire acondicionado está muy alto.
La ubicación perfecta, en pleno centro de Atenas.

I enjoyed my stay at The Athenian Callirhoe. It is right around the corner from the Acropolis and has an amazing restaurant on their top floor. I stayed there 4 nights and ate dinner at the restaurant 3 out of those 4 nights and the night I had dinner out I still ended up at the bar for dessert and a nightcap. When you dine you have a clear view of the Acropolis from almost every corner of the restaurant. The food was incredible. I was lucky enough to be staying there over Valentine's Day when they offered an indulgent and impeccable prefixe menu. I got full and couldn't fit in dessert. I do have to say I don't like that they wouldn't let me take the dessert with me to my room claiming because it's ice cream it would melt and ruin the integrity of the dish. I stated I didn't really care but they insisted. I could have asked that my bill be adjusted to reflect the fact that I wasn't getting my dessert, but I didn't press the issue.

I also ordered breakfast as room service twice and both times the process was seamless, the food came quickly and was hot and fresh. I fell in love with their crispy cheese rolls with housemade tomato and honey chutney. My only regret is that I didn't ask about buying a jar of the chutney to bring home. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in Athens.
