First things: this isn't a 5 star hotel, it's a guesthouse, so set your expectations accordingly.... Laundry service every 2nd day, no elevator and no breakfast room. But WHAT an exceptional guesthouse...my room was clean with adequate floor space and a renovated bathroom. The owner lives in on the 3rd floor with about 9 rooms across 2 floors rented of which some have jaw dropping cinematic views of the west harbour and Fort Lawrence (or Kings Landing jetty/red dungeon for GOT fans). Eddie himself is a friendly larger than life character with unbelievable enthusiasm for his guests to get the best out of Dubrovnik. And on that you should know that besides the bay being 90 seconds walk away you are at the bus terminus for pile gate so bars and restaurants are on the doorstep and the Old Town in 3 minutes walk, as are buses north to Gruz or the Lapad peninsula. Basically the same as the Hilton but a fraction of the price. There are some petulant comments on GMaps so I offer an opinion: the house has a courtyard entry and a metal locked door leading to an alley for the jetty....loiterers, drunks and aggressives get short treatment from Eddie, everyone else is welcome. Do try this place, it's super.

Le top de la situation : l’appartement est à 2 min même pas de la vieille ville, petit commerce à proximité, les bus en bas, la vue sur west harbour king’s landing pour les fans de gale of thrones. Eddie est un hôte formidable qui vous donne tous les tuyaux et les bonnes adresses. À recommander !!

What a lovely stay we had at Eddie’s Sea View. The window opened up to the ocean. This was by far the best view from a hotel I have ever had. The cool ocean breeze was amazing in mid October. Owner was helpful and fun to talk with.

Получих отлично съотношение цена - качество. Локацията е перфектна, стаята - уютна, с комфортно легло за спокоен сън, разполага със сейф. Edi's was a great place to stay. Very close to Old Town, right at the gates.
Edi will be your comrade for your Dubrovnik visit. you get a 15 minute rundown in the place as you arrive, and Edi is always there to answer your questions.
if you want a seaview room, you need to book that ahead- but all the rooms are nice.

Eddie is very disrespectful and racist. He has threatened my boyfriend and I with a metal bar only because of sitting near to their hotel door. I have been really scared. Avoid this hotel if you want to stay alive.

Me and my girlfriend have suffered an unpleasant incident by the owners. We have sat in the street near the entrance to rest because of the high heat and the two owners of the hotel have come out insulting, shouting, spitting and threatening with a metal stick. We have reported the incident to the local police and to the main hotel portals and advise against anyone staying here. If you value your integrity, don't stay here. Stay safe.

Eddie is an aggressive man very hostile and not welcoming to tourists, we left after being there for 20 mins. I would not recommend staying here at any cost!
