The best bakery we visited during our time in Croatia, spanning many cities! Unbelievable value, half the price of places near Old Town and at least 3X as delicious! It’s a small spot just by the ferry stop / bus terminal. We had the meat burek which was delicious and huge, and the meat filling was flavorful and juicy. We also had this sweet one with a nut filling (shaped like a “U”, seen in other reviews), and that was delightful. The bureks are not on display in the window (kept warm in the back), so make sure to ask for them!

Suite aux commentaires je suis allée chez cette boulangère. Quelle déception! Un acceuil froid. Je lui demande un pain mou puisque je suis avec ma mère qui a du mal à mâcher. Elle me répond "ont lu la and cash". Je lui répond que ça ne change pas ma question. Elle me sort un pain dur au toucher. Je lui demande si elle n'a pas mieux. Elle a soufflé et retiré le pain de devant moi. Je lui ai demandé si elle était de mauvaise humeur elle a répondu en croate et a tourné le dos. Bref il y a des supermaché autour avec des pains similaires. Je vous déconseille totalement ce lieu....

Probably one of my favorite food places in Dubrovnik. A local recommended this bakery and said it’s her favorite to get Burek. If you get Burek here get it with yogurt as that combo of the two is absolutely fire! I also got a small desert thingy with jam and that too was amazing. One downside they’re cash only but there are plenty of ATMs around the block (and yes I went to an ATM to get cash just so I can get Burek here lol). I also got so exited and ate everything that I forgot to take a picture. Can’t wait to come back here and would 10000% recommend
