Wonderful hideaway in old town Luc area of Vis...easy stroll to busy ferry area along beautiful waterfront filled with sailing yachts. Ivan and his wife are wonderful hosts.

Quiet and peaceful hotel in a beautiful location. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Vis, especially for a couples retreat, or honeymoon. At first we were a little frustrated with one of the receptionists because we called a few hours before we arrived for a taxi, she gave us 2 different numbers to call instead of handling it like advertised. It was very hot when we arrived and the ferry port is a mile away so we needed a taxi. When we arrived at the hotel she didn’t seem to care that we were upset and told us we should have called days before, which we didn’t know. Then she immediately asked us to sign papers and pay taxes, it was not as welcoming as we had hoped. The other receptionist was amazing and very friendly. She recommended activities to do for our 3 night stay, and even booked multiple reservations for us. Overall the staff was very inviting and super friendly. We definitely want to come back in the future. Breakfast and drinks were amazing, unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the season when we went.

We had our pre-wedding party here on July 29th 2023. We also stayed for a few nights before we got our villa for the week.

The stay was amazing, the staff and atmosphere are fantastic. It’s beautiful and the staff are super friendly. Great value for money.

Our event was exceptional and they pulled out all the stops. The food and drinks were perfect, everyone was complementing it throughout the night. The courtyard setting is beautiful and with the live music created a fantastic vibe.

The owners are really lovely and super helpful with any queries or assistance needed.

I would recommend anyone to come here to stay, eat, or even organise an event!

Can’t recommend the San Giorgio enough. The location and rooms are fantastic and it’s a wonderful place just to sit on the outdoor patios and enjoy. The hotel is extremely clean and neat. Nothing compares to the people running the place, however. The owners and their staff are amazing and go out of their way to ensure their guests have the best experience possible. The owner personally cooked eggs for all guests at breakfast! The food is amazing also, breakfast is wonderful and dinner at the restaurant in their garden is a must-do even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Can’t overstate how much my wife and I loved the hotel (we went for our honeymoon!). We would happily go back to Vis just for this hotel alone.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we booked a special meal here, as we'd read great things about this establishment. After 35 minutes, we finally received the bottle of still water that we ordered, but we still hadn't placed an order for food or wine at that point. The service was adhoc, slow, and disjointed, with some tables seemingly having great attentive service, whilst we sat there getting evermore frustrated! We decided to share the octopus and some bread with olives for starter, and albeit was beautifully presented, the tiny pieces of octopus were not great value. You can see from the picture, that each piece was no bigger than half the size of the head of a fork! For mains, my wife had the Steak, which was excellent and perfectly cooked. I had the Seabass on vegetables. The Seabass fillet was tiny and it sat on top of a tiny portion of noodled veg. The portion size was comparable to what you'd expect on a tasting menu, not an a la carte menu!
After zero recognition of our wedding anniversary and the below par service, we decided to forego dessert / coffee and leave. Disappointed!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. It was a beautiful setting and clean, comfortable rooms. It was raining while we were here, and we enjoyed just looking out the window onto the terrace. They had a delicious breakfast of local products, which we enjoyed before exploring the town. I highly recommend!!

We had a small wedding party of 26 people at the hotel’s restaurant Boccadoro in May. The service is super friendly, food excellent and the atmosphere very romantic. Flying in from abroad only a few days before the event, the set up was absolutely hassle free and the staff and owners super helpful. We had a small wedding ceremony in the hotel garden, an unforgettable night with our guests at the restaurant and a romantic weekend staying in the hotel suite.

Great little boutique hotel in a nice corner of Vis. The owners are super helpful, the rooms are well designed and comfy, and the restaurant is great. Loved the breakfast scrambled eggs that the owner made for us, as his mother made them.

Ispolja lijepo, staro zdanje a unutra pretvoreno u moderan i udoban hotel. Sobe su dovoljno velike sa udobnim krevetom i velikom kupaonom. Iako se nalazi tik uz more i mnoštvo lokala, sobe pružaju mogućnost lijepog odmora. Kad se zatvore prozori, do kreveta ne dopire nikakva buka. Osoblje je jako ljubazno, uvijek spremno pomoći savjetom od toga šta vidjeti na Visu, do svega ostalog. Hrana odlična. Vlasnici ulažu zaista mnogo truda u svoj posao, u uređivanje okoliša i animaciju turista. Na suprot hotela, između starih zidina smješten je hotelski restoran, na kojem smo uistinu uživali u tom bajkovitom zdanju. Cjelokupnim zdanjem i uslugom smo bili prezadovoljni. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti.

One of the nicest and best hotels I have stayed on. Such great and personal service as well as nice rooms.
The hotel is a gem in Vis. A 20 minute walk from the port and located near the water.
Me and my boyfriend also ate one night at the restaurant which had a romantic atmosphere, good service and tasty food. I had the tuna which was wonderful and my boyfriend the meat.
If you are thinking of staying a night in Vis I strongly recommend this hotel.
