The garlic bread, drenched in olive oil and vinegar, was scrumptious. We could've easily devoured two or three servings. However, at almost 6 euros per bread basket, it wasn't inexpensive. The chicken and chips featured a flattened chicken breast that remained tender and moist. We tried the truffle pasta and pesto Alfredo, both exceptionally creamy—almost to the point of excess, but it was appreciated as it showcased the generous amount of ingredients. The lobster salad was a masterpiece and the highlight of our meal. We also had a seafood platter and polished off every bit of it.

The owner warmly greeted us and gifted us a plate of homemade cookies. With all due respect to her, the dessert was rather lackluster. Perhaps it's a regional specialty crafted traditionally, but our American palates, accustomed to sweeter treats, didn't find the cookies memorable. Nonetheless, we'd undoubtedly return and recommend this restaurant, given the superb main dishes and starters. Our tour guide, who suggested this spot, nailed the recommendation.

Sehr feines Restaurant und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service ist aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen ist ein wenig hochpreisiger aber sehr gute Qualität.

Wir lagen mit unserem Motorboot zwei stürmische Nächte im Hafen von Jelsa. Direkt vor dem Lokal me & mrs Jones.
Wir haben dort super lecker gegessen, absolut 5 Sterne!
Die Wirtin ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Auch als Nachbarin der Bootsfahrer, man fühlt sich zuhause unter Freunden.
Selten erlebt und absolute Empfehlung!

I visited here when I was staying in jelsa.

I had the cuttlefish and prawn risotto- it’s okay, however I thought it was slightly lacking seasoning. However the wine they gave us was absolutely great, sweet and fruity. Great wine selection.

They finished off with a shot which was a a nice treat

The best restaurant in Jelsa and it is on the waterfront. Dishes are made with local ingredients but with an Italian ristorante flair. Try the Ms Jones octopus salad or the mixed antipasti. Best value for money too!

I was quite disappointed by the restaurant despite its good rating… we ordered starters and they were quite small, and the mussels were dry and one plate didn’t have sauce ????
However the service was excellent - one of the best we had in Croatia so far

Il personale che serve ai tavoli è ottimo, un vino della casa €22, zuppa di pesce.....brodetto che in Italia si usa per arricchire i piatti di pesce, se avete idea della vera zuppa di pesce evitate, è un brodo con pezzettini di pesce, scarti ovviamente. Prezzi troppo alti per le proposte del menù. Non ci tornerei assolutamente si mangia con molto meno.....due piatti di pasta al pomodoro, due antipasti, una spigola piccolina surgelata alla griglia, un brodetto e un vino della casa €151.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Me and Mrs. Jones restaurant in Jelsa, Hvar! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the owners. The ambiance was charming and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The menu was a delightful culinary journey, offering a variety of delectable dishes that were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The dedication of the owners to creating an exceptional dining experience truly shone through in every aspect. I can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant to enjoy their wonderful food and the hospitality of the owners again. A definite 5-star dining destination!

The best restaurant in Jelsa so far. What ever you choose from a menu will be perfect. My recommendation would be fish platter for two.

C'est au bout du port, il y fait chaud l'été. Plats très divers et de très bonne qualité. On ne s'en sortira pas à moins de 20 € si l'on prend entrée/plat/dessert (cf carte). Service très accueillant.
