We came across this restaurant by chance whilst exploring hvar old town, and we’re so glad that we did. It was the best restaurant we’d visited over the week. We’ve been to different parts of Croatia 3 years in a row now and this is by far our favourite restaurant in Croatia! The food was amazing! Perfectly cooked. We had the filet steak with mushroom sauce x2 and a filet steak. It was a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views! The waiters were very attentive and more than happy to make recommendations, they knew everything about the menu even down to how the foods sourced/prepared. The chef even came out to ask us if everything was ok - we’ve never had that before! And also said goodbye as we left. I can’t recommend this place enough, it really sets the bar high in terms of all round quality. We hope to visit again soon!

Great place in the backlane of the main Pjaca in Hvar; not easy to find but well worth visiting. Great atmosphere on the rooftop of an old family house with views of the cathedral and the fortress. When the cathedral bells start chiming, you stop eating and enjoy the sound and the fact that you are there. Traditional food, like the Hvar gregada (various kinds of fish, mussels, and prawns cooked with potatoes and herbs), is excellent. The hotel is run by a family of wine makers, so that they serve there own wine. Đurđa, the owner, runs the place in an impeccable way. One of the best restaurants in Hvar serving traditional food.

Food is amazing here
Some traditional dishes which I highly recommend (squid with a lid, lamb al forno)
The service is excellent and laid back
Wine is very beautiful and the waiter was very knowledgeable about it
Views over the city incredible - be aware you cannot see the sun set over the sea though!

Es war alles top, außer....es gab keinen espresso zum Abschluss, da es keinen Kaffee gibt. Der Service war super, der Kellner freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wir hatten den Fisch aus dem Ofen und das Lamm vom Grill, was beides super war. Der Rotwein ist eine Wucht und aus eigener Herstellung. Die Lage und Aussicht vom Rooftop sind wirklich schön. Dass man nur Cash zahlen kann, hat man uns bei der Reservierung gesagt. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend.
