Room recommended by the hotel, a downgrade from the one we originally booked, had music blasting from two nearby clubs - Arsenal and Garden - late into the night.
Not being able to sleep, we took a shower and were delighted to find it leaking profusely and required us to assemble a carpet of towels in an attempt to prevent flash flooding. Hotel manager helpfully expressed they were actually aware of the leakage, sharing with us their contractor woes (?), but pretended not to be aware of the techno blasts (hard of hearing?) which must have entertained many a guest this summer.
To top it all off, after checking out a day early (no alternative room was offered), they proceeded to charge us for the night we did not stay and for some reason thought it was appropriate (funny?) to charge us EUR 17 for standard hotel bathroom hair conditioner.
Avoid at all cost this sad, unprofessional and shameless operation.
