Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel au Samaria Lodge (3 nuits).
Les propriétaires et le personnel sont aux petits soins,
L’endroit dégage un tel calme et une telle sérénité que l’on se sent presque à la maison.
La vue sur l’Océan est à couper le souffle, les installations sont en parfait état et l’hôtel vous met même à disposition canoë, masque et tuba pour explorer les alentours.
Nous avons fait 2 excursions organisées par l’hôtel et les chauffeurs ont toujours été très sympas et professionnels.
La nourriture est très bonne et fraîche.
Si nous avons l’occasion de revenir sur l’île, nous n’hésiterons pas à séjourner à nouveau ici.
Et nous vous recommandons l’endroit à 100% !

An amazing lodge with fantastic views, a calm setting and staff who are very welcoming and attentive. The manager Marc is a very warm host and it’s evident that he wants the best experience for his guests. I would definitely recommend this lodge if you’re looking for a calm retreat, especially for couples.

We really enjoyed our stay at Samaria Lodge and will definitely try to return! The friendly owners, staff and beautiful location made the hotel extra special. The coral reef right outside the natural pool is beautiful and one of the best we've seen in Madagascar. We brought our own gear, but the hotel also provides snorkeling gear if you did not bring it. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed the seafood spaghetti, zebu, duck and calamaris! Overall their kitchen was the best we have had during our 2 months in Madagascar. The freshly pressed juices including lychees from their own garden were also very refreshing. The seating right aside the sea with an outlook over two bays was beautiful. For us being a bit more up north at this location meant that we could really find the peace and quiet to relax, read many books and snorkel! The owners Marc and Peggy kindly helped us organize an outing to the natural pools and white beaches in the north aswell as to the mangroves and the restaurant chez nono. They also took us on a snorkeling trip to see a sunken ship and some underwater cliffs, where we saw very large and different species of fish. We are going to miss Marc, Peggy, Rico and the rest very much, thank you for everything!
