CAMPING DU COLOMBIER ^{* * *}

Super mini séjour en votre compagnie. A refaire plus longuement pour profiter du snack fait maison, formule petit dej et piscine. Taille humaine et très calme. Rapport qualité prix très raisonnable. Prestation nickel et accueil au top. Parfait 5/5 pour nous merci pour tout !

We initially wanted to stay for one night but shortly after, decided on a second and even a third night. I can't begin to describe what a gem this place is, and their owners too. I have yet to meet a place or people like this. They are helpful, caring, super nice, always up for a little chat and go over and beyond what one would call customer service. But let me tell you about the venue too. You have a few little houses that you can rent which I'm sure are just as nice. We arrived with our motorhome and trailer, booked a day in advance online and were welcome when we arrived. The places to park are spacious, electricity nearby. They have two sanitary facilities, a new and an older one which is opened once more campers arrive, which contain each showers, toilets, sinks to do dishes, a sink to handwash laundry, pissoirs for the men and, this is of extra cost, they have a washing machine as well. Water from the sink has drinking quality so we filled our bottles with that.
They also have a little Bistro where you can enjoy your breakfast and/or dinner. All you have to do is 'book' in advance for their planning. You can also order baguette, croissants and pain de chocolate for the next day if you choose to eat 'at home' ????.
All of the above is worth a thumbs up. In their little Bistro you can also buy some local things like pâté, wine from the Auvergne area (absolutely delicious too) and little things you may run out of like toilet paper, salt/pepper and so on. There are many suggestions of what can be done in the surrounding area.
They also have really nice spacious pool which is great especially when it's warm outside. Loved it.

The only thing is, without any means of transport such as a car, motorbike or bicycle, most places aren't really reachable since there isn't any public transportation nearbyor Google didn't tell us the truth. Clermont - Ferrand is about a 30 minute drive away just to give you an idea.

I would give Camping du Colombier 10* if that were possible. As we left today, I would have gladly stayed much longer, it felt like we left new friends. Thank you so much for everything. We found everything we could have possibly asked for and more and continue our travels in a completely relaxed state of mind. ????????

Super camping. Accueil des propriétaires très chaleureux. Nous devions rester une nuit et nous sommes rester 4 nuits. On s'y sent bien. Calme, douceur de vivre.
Félicitations aux propriétaires pour l'entretien, la cuisine excellente, leur disponibilité, leur gentillesse. Nous avons manger des hamburgers au saint nectaire exquis. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir.
