RELAIS DES PLATEAUX

Je m'y suis rendu pour manger, des plats gastronomique sont proposés et l'hôtel est très bien situé, la piscine est magnifique et le lieu est accessible à presque tous. La décoration du restaurant est de très bon goût mais le prix est un peu cher ce qui est normal pour la qualité.

Nous n'avons fait que manger dans cet hôtel car nous avions malheureusement réservé dans l'hôtel à côté mais qui ne possède pas de restaurant.
L'endroit est paradisiaque à quelques km de l'aéroport d'Ivato.
Piscine et terrasse où il est possible de déguster de très bons petits plats.
Le repas du soir est excellent et le service aux petits soins.
Le prix est légèrement plus élevé que les hotels standards de Tana mais le service et l'endroit en vaut la peine.

Je suis allée déjeuner avec une amie. Le personnel du restaurant est à l'écoute. Les repas (le menu) est vraiment bon et la quantité est suffisante.

Le bémol : à l'accueil, le personnel ne connaît rien par rapport au restaurant et au spa. En effet, j'arrive, je vais vers l'accueil qui me dirige vers le restaurant. Au restaurant, on me recommande de prendre une formule menu du jour + accès spa. Je reviens à l'accueil et elles ne savent rien. Je dois aller vers le spa. Le spa me confirme que ce menu existe, je leur confirme que je désire prendre cette formule. Elles appellent l'accueil. Je vais à nouveau à l'accueil et elles ne savent rien : elles me dirigent vers le restaurant. Je vais au restaurant et enfin ça marche, je peux payer et prendre le menu du jour.

Pour ce qui est du spa. Autre bémol : la porte de la salle où on se change est cassée, lorsqu'on ferme la porte, on y est enfermé sauf si quelqu'un nous ouvre de l'extérieur.
Le spa est plutôt chouette : on nous accueille avec des peignoirs gasy gasy, du thé, et il y a un jacuzzi, un sauna, un Hamman. Malheureusement, la piscine extérieure n'est pas chauffée mais il y a une chouette salle de sport.

Nice hotel with great rooms. Food was good. My only complaint is the service. It’s a 4-star hotel, and with that comes the expectation that service would be great. We pay a lot of money expecting great service. Well, the service was subpar. They called my husband while I was out demanding that we pay for the room for my sister’s instantly. I explained to the receptionist the night before that I will pay for her room when I check out. My sister checked out before me and they said they needed us to pay while I was out running errands. did not appreciate my husband being bothered while he napped and me having to rush back to pay these people. This was an inconvenience. If I didn’t explain in advance that my sister is leaving before us, then I get it. But we discussed it the night before. I would’ve happily paid for her room the night we checked in or the morning she checked out while I was getting my breakfast. But no one said anything until the afternoon. Also, when we checked out, I’d asked to be taken to the airport at 11:30 am, for a 2:40 pm flight. I know it’s a bit early but I have some concerns with my paperwork and wanted to make sure I arrive to the airport while in advance. The front desk people said the shuttle is not leaving until 12 pm since there are other people sharing the shuttle with us. We ended up taking alternative transport for fear that we might have issues checking in at the airport due to my paperwork. I just wish that the team at Relais des Plateaux worked with customers better. This hotel is 3 times more expensive than other hotels in the area. With that price point, please consider customers requests and listen to them.

I live and work in Madagascar. Relais is my go to hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and the hotel is well organized and a great place to relax with a nice pool, spa, etc. Food is consistently good (French style cuisine with some western options). Complimentary airport shuttle makes transport to and from the airport easy. Relais is also close to the airport which avoids having to worry about traffic in town. Having tried a number of other hotels in Tana, Relais is one of the best.
