J’ai réservé un scooter chez Hello Scoot Tahiti tard dans la soirée, mais j’ai rencontré des difficultés pour créer mon compte. Dès le lendemain matin, leur équipe a été incroyablement réactive. Un vendeur s’est montré très professionnel et a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre le problème rapidement.

Grâce à son aide, tout a été arrangé, et j’ai pu récupérer mon scooter sans aucun souci. L’application est également très bien conçue et simple d’utilisation une fois le compte créé.

I had a lot of issues but they get 5 stars because the customer service is phenomenal. I couldn’t get the app to work and was unable to make an account but I just texted them via whatsapp and they helped me set up everything very quickly. scootering was a bit scary staring in downtown papeete as someone who hasn’t really done it before but I was able to figure it out pretty easily after some practice on some less busy roads. the thing I had the most trouble with was the kickstand. I originally wanted to go to the airport but that wasn’t doable since you need to go on the highway and these scooters have max 50 kmph (like 35 on hills). scootering around was much more pleasant outside of the main city and I was able to go to the 3 cascades waterfall and point venus.
Another issue I ran into was that the stores were all closed on sunday afternoon so I wasn’t actually able to get a battery refill, which messed with my plans.

Other than that, great service for its convenience and affordability compared to renting a car or taxi. I think it would’ve been more fun to do on the roads in mo’orea.

I dropped the scooter after unparking it and they even sent an email that they detected it and checked if I was okay. At the end I accidentally left something in the storage and I was able to message to have them unlock it for me at 7pm on a Sunday! That being said, having a phone is CRITICAL for using the scooter so you must make sure your phone is working and can sustain a charge while you’re out. I downloaded maps offline and kept my phone in airplane mode for most of the time in order to conserve battery.

Les scoot sont très beaux et le système de location autonome est assez pratique.

SAUF qu'il faut être assez attentif sur les trajets que vous faites visiblement. Pour 1h30 de trajet nous avons payé 5090 Fp. Alors que la journée est à 4990 Fp. Pas trop compris la logique mais la réponse est qu'une minute équivaut à 85 Fp donc si vous voulez louer pour plus de 30 minutes, prenez une location à la journée (mais à ce prix là, prenez une voiture !).

On a balancé un peu notre argent par la fenêtre sur ce coup là.
Mais vu la majorité d'avis positif je pense qu'on s'y est juste mal pris. Soyez plus vigilants que nous.
