Was in Barcelona to visit our adult child who has a temporary job there as well as another adult child who dropped in from Munich. This hotel was centrally located with respect to shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. Taxis are available if one does not wish to walk (or you can rent a Ferrari nearby!). The hotel was great ???????? - staff, facilities, and restaurant were all top notch as one would expect from an Autograph Collection hotel. We had a street-side room which was quiet nonetheless. Room opened by keycard or by phone NFC. Elevator activated by keycard. Although our plane from the States arrived early, the Cotton House was able to accommodate our early arrival and to let us in early. If you have the points or can afford it, then the Cotton House is recommended.

Solo he estado para tomar un gintonic en su terraza interior. Lugar muy tranquilo y agradable, a destacar el personal muy amable y lo bien que huele en el interior del hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Welcoming staff, nice rooms, nice hotel and a very good location. The bed was so, so comfortable (and I have high standards when it comes to hotel beds as well as my own). Overall, everything was excellent here!

Ayer estuve teletrabajando al mediodía y además de tener una terraza muy bonita me atendió una camarera rubia (no recuerdo el nombre) que fue muy agradable y servicial

We spent 3 nights here for a Wedding Anniversary and 'boy oh boy' we were soooo impressed with just about everything. The attention to detail was amazing, regarding the service from the staff, from the cleaner to doorman (inparticular, Reyes) who chased our taxi which was running a little late for the airport (Thank you), to the Conierge staff, who helped with booking an excursion, reception staff and lastly not least, all the restaurant staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble, we felt very very spoilt.
The staff were always available to help with any enquiry.
We had an evening meal at the Hotel it was superb without a doubt, many thanks to the chief.
We had a lovely room, which was comfortable with a view overlooking the terrace. The garden was indeed lovely and well cared for, lovely to relax in, listening to the soft background music and watching the little birds flying around-all very peaceful.
The location was also ideal and made it easy to get out and about locally.
All in all we had a super stay and hopefully will return for another experience - many thanks to ALL for taking such good care of us.

We went for an after meal drink and was an amazed by the building. Interior decoration has a touch of vintage charm and it appeared to be the antic fabrica de textil. The library and the bat located in the first floor was quite a place to have drinks with yours

You can see my other reviews in the past and I never said this but ... this is one of the best hotels I ever stayed. The room was beautiful. No words for "Suite Damaso" .. The size , the details , the bed and ... the roof!! Stunning! A special thanks to Beatriz for all the tips and for being so helpful. Will come back for sure.

Our favorite hotel in Barcelona. Wonderful location and stunning hotel. Lots of history here. The food and wine are exceptional and their cocktails are amazing. Highly recommend if your Marriott Bonvoy members and you enjoy their autograph collections.

Beautiful property, great breakfast but the customer service is awful.

Some of their Staff was great but some others really need to improve.

Concierge service also needs improvement, I had to practically plead with one of the them to assist me.

Would I recommend this property? If you're in Barcelona to stay in the hotel, then perhaps yes, just don't expect much as far as service (and try to avoid relying on concierge service. iHowever, if you're in Barcelona to enjoy this amazing city and don't plan to spend much time in the hotel, then spend your money elsewhere.
