Great location but elevator does not work and reception is on the 8th floor!!! There is a low budget youth hostel in the house that makes this place pretty roudy and noisy at night. One night someone even vomited into the elevator that was surprisingly working that time... I assume that the hotel is now run by a different group since my stay did not at all resemble the good reviews that this hotel has on tripadvisor or google review. Woud not come back but it was not horrible either.

Very sad to say it is not what it used to be. I stayed here a few years ago and back then it has a clean, decent eco-friendly space with friendly staff. This time around everything seemed to have deteriorated. Stained and wobbly mattress. Aged and moldy bathrooms. Worst of all, there was no hot water during my entire stay. The staff was completely unresponsive the first few days and when they finally got a plumber in they said it would require a few more days to get it fixed. By then I had already left and will definitely not be returning!

We felt at home, staying in a beautiful Barcelona apartment that combines history with modern amenities and eco friendly attitude. Mari and Sandro made us feel very welcome, giving us many tips about the city and caring for us during our stay.The location is also great, next to the old city centre but very close to bus stops, supermarkets etc that made it easy for us to organise our activities, especially travelling with two small children.
