Croquettes were bland, the octopus was fine but underseasond-served over pasty flavourless mash potatoes. The shredded? Lamb pressed back together into a cube was exactly as good as it sounds. But the cherry tomato on top was the “make your own pan con tomate”. If you don’t know it is a traditional dish where one rubs garlic and tomato or even a tomato spread/jam over crusty bread. For 8 euro they give you a plate with bread that I assume was supposed to be used in a Saw movie as a prop, a whole tomato and un peeled garlic. I’m all about deconstructed dishes but this is a grocery list.
The real kicker is it’s the most expensive meal we’ve had and the most mediocre.
Avoid at all costs.
