A good hotel for stopover in Mwanza. Super location with a view of Lake Victoria. Rooms are ok , good restaurant and parking facilities.

Very disappointed
I got a warm reception and then they gave me a wrong WIFI password and I had very urgent emails to send, went to the reception to ask for another WiFi password since the room telephone extension wasn't working and I had to go back to my room to wait and never received a password till I went back to the reception again. Got back to my room and sent my emails decided to take a nap, they came to move me to another room apparently the one I got the hot showers ain't working. My booking was done weeks prior to my arrival why can't you cross check if the rooms are OK?

Here again and main kitchen closed for 3 weeks they now provide a limited selection of local western dishes. Wow you just don't expect this from driving down the road, it's a hidden gem. Rooms are well presented and spacious. Facilities are 5 star, from the rooftop bar and restaurant, nirvana Spa, garden dining area and bar. The staff are very professional and courteous. Lakeside location is also quiet.

If your a fan of Humphrey Bogart this is the place for you. The boat from the movie Africa Queen is moored here as accomodation.
The hotel restaurants and bars have that old world charm, service is 5 star and the food very good. Rooms are a great size with all mod cons.
