Hidden valley backpacker is a wonderful place in Iringa which is also a very nice city. Eric and the dadas were very friendly and welcoming. We were not supposed to go in there but we came back because we loved it so much. We can prepare our own food and ask for have some, they organise a lot of things like hiking, biking and Eric give is good advices to make safari or hiking kilimanjaro. We met a lot of great people on there, we saw a lot of monkeys, hyrax, wonderful birds. We hope come back again one day. THANK YOU ????

L'esterno è molto trascurato, all'intero invece carini, pulito, accogliente. Il panorama fantastico. Un po' fuori mano dal centro ma 10 minuti a piedi.

Great hostel for exploring Iringa and surroundings. Eric was a welcoming host and helped us with transport, ordering food and gave tips for activities. The hostel's interior is very pretty, especially relative to most other places in Tanzania. Would recommend!

When we arrived at midnight the owner showed great hospitality. The beds are great and do have mosquito nets. They also have a great hanging chair (inside) and some sort of hanging nets (outside). When you're lucky you are able to see some monkeys. Also you are free to use the kitchen.

Ps. When struggling for the way, the last few hunderd meters are very "hobbly" (you're on the rightway????). The gate can be opened from the outside and the car should be parked inside.

Good place to relax for one or two nights in the Iringa region. Great hospitality of the owner. We arrived after midnight due to traffic jam, but that was totally not a problem

We stayed here for one night with a group of 14 people, but I wished we could have stayed longer. Location is great and the hostel is more a big house with a great, relaxing vibe. The friendly owner helped us with booking a safari what safed us a lot of time. Thanks to the owner who stayed up late to welcome us and let us use the kitchen for breakfast in the morning.

We wish we had more time here. The place is stunning. And Erick is the most helpful man. ???? With just a few Whatsapp texts he arranged a fantastisch 2 day safari trough Ruaha, where we saw 14 lions!

We had an amazing time in this hostel. Our host Eric is very warm hearted and welcoming, giving advice where to eat and about your further travels. He's even calling the people himself to settle everything unclear.
The place itself is just great with a lot inventory like billiard table, das ist a warm shower and a guitar. They have an exposed balcony for a great view down the valley which I've found quite special.

All the best with even upgrading this nice place, Eric!
