Not worth the money.beach front is great but food and hotel itself aren't worth the price you pay

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel auf einem völlig zugebauten Grundstück. Hintereinander liegende Bungalows. Wenn man Pech hat (bzw. ein Standardzimmer bucht) landet man in einem der unteren Zimmer. Dieses wird einem als Upgrade verkauft. Dort blickt man, wie wir, auf ein Toilettenhäuschen in 3m Entfernung. Dafür zahlen wir fast 100 € pro Nacht - in der Nebensaison! Das Management will uns nicht helfen. Ein Upgrade gegen Aufpreis ist einfach nicht möglich, obwohl Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung stehen, zum Beispiel nebenan. Man will uns auch keine Stornierungsmöglichkeit anbieten. Man erhält einfach keine Hilfe.
Die wunderbaren Bilder vom Hotel in Booking haben uns total überzeugt - diese sind ein schlechter Scherz. Die Pools sind in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Die Ausstattung auf dem gesamten öffentlichen Gelände ist alt, teilweise verschlissen.
Die Ausstattung ist mindestens alt und aus dem Waschbecken wie auch auf der Terrasse, riecht es erbärmlich.
Nachts wird in der Umgebung Müll verbrannt. Es riecht so stark, dass man sich in den Schlaf hustet. Die Zimmer sind immer offen, mit teilweise offenen Wänden, Türen ohne Verglasung. Es ist es laut.

The rooms are not up to standard, no hot water for our first 3 nights and no water pressure. The staff are fantastic and the food is ok. But the rooms need lots of attention, we stayed in an ocean front suite and did not expect to rough it to this degree. I would not recommend or return. Much better places for this price on the island. Do your research and definitely take note of the room reviews, the problems are not fixed.
