Great service, great staff - Iddy was very helpful and always at our service! Philipo was great and made sure our drinks were always topped up. The pool is lovely and clean, the rooms are tidy and comfortable- the restaurant food is excellent and fairly priced.

I have to leave a review just to contrast all these super 5 star "reviews" being left by others which swayed me to stay here. It's listed as TripAdvisor number one for Dar Es Salaam! Trust me, it's one of the worst hotels you can possibly stay in.

From the start issues. Pre-booked taxi was not there on time, so we were left waiting at the airport waiting for him.

The hotel is not far, but with traffic it took almost an hour to get there. The condition of the roads is terrible.

The arrival at the hotel was very business like and impersonal.

The room, the main reason for staying, is awful. It's cramped, smells of mould and very tired. The mattress is old and ours had a big dip in the middle it was so used where the springs had collapsed, didn't sleep well at all. The bathroom smelt of sewage, literally. There was one, very old, used looking towel for the three of us. The sink was cracked. The shower head was fixed to the wall and no hand held option.

The breakfast was TERRIBLE. ALL the pastrys were stale!

Oh and the return ride was also not ready on time either.

So in short, the bed is unsleepable, the toilet is disgusting and the breakfast inedible.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Centrally located hotel with a well-trained team in place.

This hotel is disgusting! I visited 1-24-24 and was suppose to stay until the 1-27-24 but I could not. The towels were so disgusting they were cream, brownish and old. The shower drain did not drain and as we are taking showers the water was at our ankles.. Most of the television channels seemed to be India based as was the one and only restaurant. If you like India based dishes the restaurant is a win. If not you are stuck like we were having to catch a Uber across town. As an American this hotel did not meet my standards and we cancelled the remaining days and booked at the Marriott across town. The neighborhood in which this hotel sits didn’t feel the safest the men were literally undressing me with their eyes as an African American woman I did not fell safe for me or my husband. The upside is the staff is nice!

Nice place with poor service..cheap but location is so noisy

Needed a quick emergency stay and a friend recommended this hotel! It was exactly what I needed - close to the airport, clean,safe and affordable. The best part was the staff, at the front desk and the two porters Bensone and Yohane were so friendly and helpful! Will stay here again
