The CBA Hotel Tanga features a garden, shared lounge, and terrace. The clean rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, desk, and flat-screen TV. Bed linen and towels are provided. The hotel offers many amenities including air conditioning, generator, WiFi, always hot water, and friendly staff. The breakfast with eggs and sausages as well as the good restaurant are additional pluses. The prices are reasonable.
If people don't like to listen to music, they should choose a retirement home instead of a beach hotel.
The Yacht Club just across the quiet tarmac road offers additional leisure opportunities. The Yacht Club and is one of the few places in Tanga with a sandy beach and security from vendors and beggars. There are showers and changing rooms available at the beach. The Yacht Club offers a daily membership for 10,000 Tanzanian shillings.There is also an excellent restaurant at the Yacht Club.
