The food is amazing!! Ask for the menu, as it’s not really obvious that they also serve food. Best prawns curry that I’ve had in Tanga. The manager, Deo, is super friendly and helpful. We couldn’t stay there as they were renovating the rooms but came back for ice cold drinks on the terrace every other day. Location is perfect.

Great place by the seaside Foridhani. Where food and drinks are served with excellent views of the Tanga Bay.

Nice surprise!. Old German building from colonial time. The place transport you in a vintage moment in time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was a good surprise. The bar is nice to have those "oldies" moments over a chat that takes you back in time. I strongly recommend to visit the place and try the food...

Fantastic. The building is a old German one from colonial time. The place transport you in a Hemingway novel or a Corto Maltese comics. Some rooms have balcony and sea view. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is wonderful, Indian curry menu. The bar is nice to have a beer and chat. I strongly recommend the place.

Hotel is very old, without any maintenance since long, the only electric socket was not working, the shower too....no clean, very poor management even considering the price, 35.000 TZS
