I found gazelle adventure looking at a YouTube video, some Canadians people climbed with them and I thought they seemed great and cool.
I climbed in august 2022 with my friend, we had a team of 11, 8 porters, one cook and 2 guides Salim and Gasto.
They made our time there an amazing memory. All the team from the time they pick you at the airport till the end was amazing.
I highly recommend gazelle adventure, I will never forget the team and my time here.
Gasto and Salim are amazing guides. Benson amazing cook. Just had one regret that I couldn’t really talk to the porters because of the language barrier, I wish I shared more stuff with them because they were all so amazing.
I’ll come next time to do a safari with gazelle for sure !

Total joke of a company, they made a bunch of promises that couldn't be kept (promised me a specific kilimanjaro route, changed the route at the last moment, promised me that I was in a group, changed it to solo last minute, promised me a vegetarian menu, changed to the meat last minute because I 'need' protein, insisted I go a $75USD waterfall tour before the trek to 'test' my hiking skills but then didn't even accompany me, and literally ran out of food the last day of the hike and all I got was carbs). My guide was terrible and didn't speak to me beyond 1-2 sentences a day, the cook who spoke zero english was nicer to me. The tents and gear were mediocre at best. There was always an excuse for these bait and switch schemes of course. I met a few people on the trek that had significantly better companies, I would just go with a company that deals with high volumes of trekkers, I originally based my decision on the reviews and responsiveness of the company, which I truly regret.

Danson and Pope Francis are wonderful and experienced guides to climb with and the crew.. the best food and laugh you can have!
Our Safari experience was very well planned and we learnt a lot from our guide Deo.
We also had amazing visit to the local waterfall together with coffee plantation where I can advise to choose the lunch from the hosts.
If you want something special and closer to the real people of Tanzania experience, choose Gazelle.
