Pros: good communication with staff, friendly staff members making breakfast, great common areas to hang out in
Cons: bedroom dirty, dirty towels, no toilet paper (asked 3x and did not receive any), warm water not working

I stayed at the white house a few weeks and I loved every bit of it! The hostel is big and beautiful, there are little houses outside and the rooms inside are all also nice, with their own bathrooms. The owners are great fun, and all the staff were really helpful, becoming like a second family to me. Highly recommend, especially for Tanzania its cheap and great quality!

I stayed at 3 hostels in Arusha and while the other two were good this was by far the best. The facilities are one of the best I’ve ever seen at a hostel. Think Selina if you’ve ever stayed at one before but without the corporate blandness.
The food takes some time, if you come in a big group. But the food is delicious! If you come in a group of 20+ there is a burger place very close by, where you can get some good food as well.
They also have some nice activities here like table tennis.????
