We had booked a safari with Benson Safaris. What a wonderful safari we had. Thanks to Benson and our guide Peter. Peter knows a lot of all the plants and animals in de national parks we visited: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater. Peter is a safe driver and is very focused on the wishes of the costumer. The arrangements and hotels were wonderful, Patricia did a great job too. Our trips during the day well organized and a day after the last trip we already missed Peter. Even when we decided to changed an hotel during the trip, they helped us to have it done.
We had wine provided by peter because he heard my wife doesn't drink beer and he always had a surprise (an animal to be photographed) during the safari. We were really surprised with the safari, one of the best experiences in our life.

Wir haben eine Eintages-Safari zum Tarangiere-Nationalpark mit Benson Safari gemacht. Es war überweltigent. Am Abend vor dem Trip kam der Guide und erklärte uns vieles für den Nationalpark (z.B. die Verhaltensregeln im Park usw.) Das Auto war sehr gut ausgerüstet, so gab es einen Kühlschrank mit Kaltgetränken, WLAN, Ferngläser und Steckdosen für USB. Wir bekamen auch Lunchpakete mit, welche lecker waren. Unser Guide sprach deutsch, was vieles einfacher machte. Er war auch sehr sympathisch, wie habe sehr viel gelacht und uns unterhalten. Im Park wurde uns viel gezeigt und man hatte durch das geöffnete Dach ausgiebig Zeit, Fotos zu machen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

It is a delight to deal with Benson safaris in every way. From the start their attention to their clients is outstanding and they really combine being so professional with that really personal feeling.
Benson is a Tanzanian local who started his own company many years ago he now employs a number of hand-picked safari guides and booking personnel. He is great with his staff and clients alike and really prides himself in arranging top-quality safaris where nothing should be left to chance. Hygiene standards are top-notch, the coffee is great and everything is really super well organised. He may not be the cheapest but that is becasue the cars are well maintained and won't break down, the food is high quality, the guides are experienced, the staff is well trained, etc. etc. so it is really worth it. Book directly with them and avoid a lot of unnecesarry surcharges.
