Nice big rooms for big families. Short time needed to get to the strand. Wifi is ok. The pool inside is good to clean the sand from body. Also here are living three big turtles

Hanneman is a perfect base to visit Mahe.
The Residence is in Beau Vallon, 3 minutes by foot from the beach.
You can easily walk to many restaurants, three supermarkets and two ATMs.
My apartment was huge, on two different levels: big dining room, enormous kitchen with everything you can need - dishwasher, microwave, nespresso, rice cooker, toaster, two refrigerators!...
The terrace is big and well furnished, a good place to rest in the shadow.
Good TV set from which I could see the main channels from Europe, good WiFi (very precious in Seychelles!).
In my family there are a lot of women, and having two bathrooms plus one restroom was very useful too...
The apartment also provides a free library, if you are looking for something to read on the beach.
There is a nice swimming pool - we did not use it a lot, when you are in Seychelles you do not need it that much...
The hearty breakfast was fantastic. Fruit salad, omelette, pancakes, fresh juice and so on.
They clean the apartment every day. You can also have free towels for the beach, everyday.
Another strong point of Hanneman is the owner, Manfred, and the staff. Everyone is very kind. On the first day, they hanged a bunch of bananas out of our room, at our disposal. Manfred can quickly help you with the car (I suggest to everyone to rent it when you are in Mahe), with excursions bookings and with good suggestions on places to see.
Last plus (for me), the cats.
And, clearly, you are in Seychelles...

Das Appartement war sehr ansprechend, geräumig und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr guter Service und sehr zuvorkommend!!! Der Vermieter ist Deutscher und sehr auf das Wohl seiner Gäste bedacht.
Die Lage zum Beau Vallon ist perfekt, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand.
Trotzdem ist ein Mietwagen (wird direkt zur Residenz gebracht) empfehlenswert, um den Süden der Insel mit seinen wunderschönen Stränden besuchen zu können.
Herzlichen Dank an Manfred für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

ABSOLUTELY NOT LIKE THE REVIEWS
We were really surprise after reading all the positive reviews to arrive in a appartement like that.
It was old
There was almost no light, only one window with a big useless furniture in front of it
There was a lot of humidity with a terrible smell
ABSOLUTELY NOT CLEAN ! (See the pictures) - the floor was covered with hair and dust, won't even talk about the corners
- there was mold in the bathroom
- the furniture and counters were filthy (I should have take the cleaning paper I used in picture ????)
- all the equipment like microwave and toaster were probably never cleaned
- there were dirty spots, hairs and one dead bug in the sheet ????
Owner adorable, good location, spacious appartement but clearly that all this place has, everything else is terrible, especially for 180€ /night !
We are glad we booked only one night, it was our last, what a last impression of the Seychelles...
