The chambre d' hote is in the center of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise, a charming medieval village with excellent restaurants, accessible parking and several grocery stores.
Our room had a fully equipped kitchenette, but as we arrived after 19 H the first night, all of the grocery stores had closed. So, we decided to have the offered breakfast offered the first morning. We were glad we did. Breakfast was a real treat with organic yogurt, cheese, homemade granola and even a special brioche from the region.
During breakfast, Pascal suggested several beautiful hikes in the area even loaning us a map. We took his suggestions and they suited us well.
I had the honor of being the first American to stay at Aasia. And while my French is getting better, I was delighted to find that Pascal speaks perfect English.
If you are planning a trip to Auvergne, I highly recommend Aaisa and Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise. We hope to be back soon!
Le lieu se trouve au Coeur de la ville médievale de Besse Saint Anastaise , dès que les valises sont posées , les cafés et artisans sont à quelques pas de ces petites ruelles fleuries et chargées d'histoire...
Ce qui ne nous a pas empêchés de partager des super apéros avec Pascal et d autres hôtes … et même un petit déjeuner délicieux (sucré et salé) avec gâteaux maison …
Pascal est d’une générosité rarement rencontré… il est d excellents conseils pour les randonnées, les restaurants de Besse …
Excellent emplacement dans le village …
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dès que possible…
