Just stayed at hostal Ripoll for 3 nights and it was excellent. The lady on reception and the cleaning staff were all very nice. The room was better than I was expecting, very big and super clean. There can be some noise but that's to be expected so close to the city centre. Literally 3 mins from the old town. Highly recommended. Will be back if I stay in the city centre again..
Sick in one shared bathroom and diarrhoea in the other. Cockroaches everywhere and safe broken. Quiet hours policy between 10pm - 9am, people in the corridor were playing loud music all night, shouting and fighting. The room has one window, right outside the window is residential apartments which had their TVs turned up very loud all night until 5am. Aircon spitting cold water on floor. I tried to check out early but owner refused to speak to me or refund me despite all these problems. AVOID, worst ever place I’ve stayed in.
