Location and building are nice.
Food, the fries (chips) are *not* special, barely average, for Belgium this is disappointing! The moules were bland. The broth they were in was, too, at first, and it seemed the same, but taken alone it was very refreshing.
Service friendly but under verging on understaffed.
Saddening for them that they are Wasing their dishes in bottled water. That must be a big expense for the company. Saddening for myself as potentially a roudy brit in a place where alcohol flows (having just come out of beer world, this gets a tick from me for thr sky bar), and I can't get a free glass of water to tame any alcohol influences I may have.
Ultimately you go to this place for the location. But even with this, the food needs to good look at and improving. If I had a day in Brussels and this was the only place I ate at I would describe the place as having bad food!

This has become my regular go-to local bar when I’m visiting Brussels. After a busy day it’s the friendly & welcoming staff, perfect relaxed Euro-ambience and great beer choice that keeps me coming back.
If you’re in Brussels and looking for a super-friendly setting in the busy Grand Place, then this is your spot. Tarlan will likely greet you with a big smile and a welcoming “Bonjour!”

Mal accueilli. "Les scouts ça travaille dans les bois pas sur la grand place!" Quelle impolitesse! Nous voulions juste utiliser les toilettes qu'est ce que c'est que cette manière de parler à des jeunes filles de 14ans

On a vraiment tout aimé, les burgers, les frites, la carbonate, les gaufres légères... Et le Match de Basket diffusé en prime !!!

Grosse déception
Habituée de ce resto, de ces plats du jour et de sa bonne cuisine bruxelloise. Nouvelle carte depuis juillet 2019. Vous devrez choisir entre les burgers (c'est pas mon truc) ou leurs entrées classiques inchangées (paraît-il) mais devenues immangeables. Salade de chèvre (sans goût) duo de croquettes (panure rance). Le service est toujours aussi sympathique. Espérons qu'ils quitteront bien vite le club de la malbouffe pour revenir à leur réputation bien méritée.
