Sehr nettes Familienhotel. Grandioser Blick auf den Pico. Tolles Frühstück und gutes Restaurant für Abends.

An sich wären es eher 2.5 Sterne geworden...
Der Empfang war nett, das Zimmer eher nicht.
Das Zimmer wurde angeblich 2 Mal vor unserer Ankunft kontrolliert. Als wir es betreten haben wirkte es groß und erstmal ok. Jedoch waren überall zich tote Insekten. Die Spülung des WC funktionierte nicht/ man musste den Hahn auf und zudrehen, sonst würde das Wasser die ganze Zeit laufen. Der Kühlschrank war verrostet und lief aus. Glühbirnen und Steckdosen funktionieren zu 50%. Die Glasscheibe der Dusche ließ alles Wasser unter sich durch, man flutete beim duschen also das Bad.
In meinem Bett krabbelte ein Wurm, die Tür hatte große Spalten, was zu einer sehr kühlen Nacht führte (es gab keine zusätzlichen Decken).
Der Pool war leer (wurde uns jedoch erst nach unserer Ankunft gesagt) also nicht nutzbar.
Als Vegetarier, bekommt man in dem Restaurant für 10€ auch eher wenig... (Siehe Bilder)
Das Frühstück war ok.
Der Service war an sich nett, die Tochter hat versucht das Beste draus zu machen und unser Zimmer wurde auch nochmal zusätzlich gereinigt, aber bei 2 Nächten, macht es auch nicht viel aus...
WLAN war auch nicht all zu gut.
Der Blick des Grundstücks war jedoch sehr schön!
Preis-Leistung stimmt leider gar nicht...

We loved our stay at the hotel. The owner and her family are so warm and kind and immediately make you feel at home. We loved the personal touch of being greeted at the entrance and being shown around the property. The individual cottages / room complex feel very authentic to the island and the view of Pico and Faial from the windows alone make the stay here amazing.
The property is conveniently located only ~5min from the airport, but tucked away on a side road that is surrounded by greenery and you can here the sound of nature all around you.
We loved that the price included breakfast in the morning which delicious and very filling. You will not want to eat breakfast anywhere else. And it features local ingredients and products like eggs, cheese, honey, jams, fresh bread and fruits.
Another plus is that the restaurant on the property Fornos de Lava is also delicious (this is the same place that you eat breakfast). We ate dinner here both night during our stay because the food was so good. It featured local products. We loved the filet mignon (the meat was so tender) and the cataplana of fish and shrimp.
We will easily stay here again next time we visit.

El mejor sitio para alojarse de la isla, al menos fuera de la temporada alta! que es cuando fui yo y lo recomiendo! Muy buena localización, increíbles vistas, servicio muy muy amable y comedor con desayuno incluido y, para la cena, un buen restaurante sin tener que desplazarse

Große geräumige Zimmer, leider in unserem Zimner mit sehr vielen kleinen Tierchen um, unter und auf dem Bett. Ursache war ein Ameisennest im Dach. Der Service war Top: Zimmer an diesem Tag 2x gereinigt und da die Ursache nicht so schnell abgestellt werden konnte, haben wir am Abend ein anderes Zimmer erhalten.
