Personal poco profesional, limpieza deficiente, instalaciones precarias (no funcionaba la cisterna del wc, entre otras cosas), el olor en todo el hotel es desagradable. Es caro para lo que te encuentras. Lo único positivo es la ubicación.

We had forgotten to book a place to stay in and had to find a quick solution for Furnas, probably the most touristy city in São Miguel, so Vista do Vale was initially a second improvised choice.
We arrived earlier than the usual check in but it wasn't a problem at all. The manager took the time to find a clean room that was way better than we expected, we actually were surprised as we had read some very harsh comments that we totally disagreed with.
The room was HUGE and very clean, with awe-inspiring views upon the valley.
I cannot comment on the 10€ pp breakfast as we chose to have our own food on the room's balcony.
There was a kettle and local tea provided, and there even was a fridge.
It is at a walking distance from Furnas with the advantage of having a free car park just in front of the hotel?
You also can use the pool until 20h which is refreshing option after any of the city's thermal pools.
I totally recommend this place to any person who would like to visit Furnas and the surroundings.

Depending on the room you have the hotel might be okay, the one I stayed in was far from that. The 'apartment' by the pool on the first floor is filthy at best. The smell of mold is dominant and is complimented by a kitchen which literally falls apart. Furthermore, there's hair of previous guests in the bathroom and the water in the shower is up to the ankles after a minute or 2. There is no sign that the bathroom was cleaned before my arrival. When confronted with the issues the owner denied that any of these were true and that she did not see any problem. The conversation with her on these points ended with her saying we were just looking for problems and then she walked away. Would never recommend anyone to stay here ever. Please stay away from this hotel. Breakfast is fine.

部屋からの見晴らしがとても良く、ベランダでもご飯を食べたりのんびり過ごすことができました。スタッフの方もとても親切で、部屋で前の晩の残りを食べようとしたら食事を温めてくれただけでなく、お皿やカトラリーまで貸し出してくれました。心配りが温かく嬉しかったです。部屋にはフルナスのミネラルウォーターがおいてあり、お茶もコーヒーもありました。また、有名な温泉地へもレストランへも徒歩圏内ですので、不便はありませんでした。朝食もアゾレスの乳製品やフルーツを楽しめました。朝食会場からの眺めもいいので、お天気が良ければテラスで朝食をいただけます。夜は町の光が少なく山に囲まれているため、星がとってもきれいでした！
