Very nice place and we did a 2 hour riding trip and can totally recommend. Trip with nice views, friendly guide and also learned a lot about the nature. Thanks!

I wish there were 10 stars to give them. I can’t put into words what an exceptional experience Quinta da Terca was. It was my first time there, but I met multiple guests that were on their 10+ visit. They offer day rides, lessons and a proper bed & breakfast experience - so plenty to choose from. They accommodate people at all riding experience levels (or none at all like me!). I partook in all 3 with a week long learn to ride program and it was absolutely magical. If you have not booked a place yet, I HIGHLY recommend booking their bed and breakfast experience - it’s all home cooking with lots of love, local produce and the best cakes made from scratch.

Then the horse riding. You can book this even if you’re not staying with them, and it’s equally a fantastic experience. They have lots of trails to choose from. A very professionally managed operation, and everyone that works there takes pride in what they do with tremendous compassion for the horses. The days are always well managed and they ensure that whether you’re a beginner or advanced, you’re paired with the right guides and groups so everyone has the fullest experience.

Lastly, the lessons - if you’re looking to learn to ride, dip your toe in or for experienced riders to continue to hone your skill set, their instructor Manuel was really a special person to work with. He was very patient and what shines through is his instincts working with the horses and teaching the guests. I ended the week feeling more confident and excited to continue to learn.

Ich war im März zu Gast auf der schönen Quinta. Es herrscht eine herzliche und friedliche Stimmung. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und super sauber. Es ist für alles gesorgt.
Das Essen ist hervorragend, reichlich und sehr abwechslungsreich.
Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Individuelle Wünsche werden immer berücksichtigt.
Besonders beeindruckt bin ich von den tierischen Bewohnern der Quinta. Die Pferde sind sehr gepflegt, haben ein angenehmes Temperament und sind äußerst Menschen bezogen. Die Hunde und Katzen sind zutraulich und verschmust.
Die angebotenen Reittouren waren allesamt prima. Landschaftlich sehr unterschiedlich und mit wunderschönen Eindrücken.
Ich hatte eine tolle Woche und kann die Quinta da Terca nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Für Reiter und Naturliebhaber eine absolute Topadresse.

I did a small trail ride here, and it was really fun! I enjoyed riding in the streets as well as the forest. The horses are well behaved and easy to ride. My guide was so friendly and fun to talk to!
