QUINTA DA TERÇA

I tried this place today with my cousin, actually horse riding here is an amazing experience, specially with instructor Anca, although it was my first time joining horse riding trip but she made me feel relax and confidant, her clear instructions gentle and professional guidance behavior with excellent communication skill made it a wonderful day????????. However I suggest that you avoid riding the "white ball on 4 legs" ???? although he's sooo gentle horse but he's an eating machine stoping in every green corner to eat ( :

Promenade à cheval hyper agréable, en compagnie de Thomas qui est très pro et attentif.

De kinderen van 10 en 14 hebben paardgereden (buitenrit van 2 uur) en ervan genoten. De instructeur die mee gaat is erg geduldig en kijkt goed naar wat de kinderen aan kunnen en leuk vinden. Paarden worden goed verzorgd, krijgen bv een douche na iedere rit.

Anca has been a very kind guide for my 11 years children and me in a two hours horse ridding "full of adventures" into the forest!! Thanks!!!

I'm not good with words so I normally only give additional feedback if I have a good reason. With quinta Da terca I feel compelled to give extra feedback since I only had positive experiences. When you enter the domain, you immediately feel welcome passing the gate and are greeted with lushious plants and flowers. The rooms give a make-yourself-at-home feeling with a really charming interior and they are always nice and tidy when you get back from your daily activities. When meeting Claude and Christina you instantly feel at ease and welcome. These are two of the most genuinely loving and caring people you'll ever meet!! The food is very well prepared and plentiful, with a personal 'Christina' touch, inspired by the Azores and her Swedish heritage. All while Claude is being a colorful host, tending to all your needs ,with 1 or 2 (...or more) stories to accompany your meals. The stables and horses are maintained by several stable hands who treat you in the same way Claude and Christina do. Since it was the first time I was on a horse in years, I took lessons to prepare me for the outdoor trips, mainly with Tomás as my teacher. He was always patient and has given me the confidence and directions I needed to fully experience the outdoor walks with the group. The herd of horses are also treated with the same love and care as the guests are. If you ever get the chance to stay at quinta Da terca, do not hesitate! You'll never regret it. If I ever get a chance to go back to the Azores, I know where my Azores family is ????
