We stayed at Casa do Pateo for 4 nights, including our wedding night. The staff were so helpful and friendly! They serve an amazing breakfast every morning. We also were able to do our wedding dinner there for just my husband and I. It was an amazing 3 course meal. The rooms were kept very clean and they are beautiful. The building is kept locked and we felt very safe the entire time we were there. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!!

Uma casa antiga que foi reformada para se tornar alojamento. Antes era uma escola. O prédio é lindo, tem escadas de pedra e quartos grandes. Ótima localização, no centro da cidade.

What a treat!

The attention to detail is exquisite and the level of comfort outstanding for a guest house. Pretty luxurious actually, and anyone staying at room number 7 will not be disappointed with space and level of sophistication right smack on Main Street of Ponta Delgada. The king size bed comes with six pillows with three different kinds of firmness.

There is no restaurant on site, but breakfast is included in the price and served between 8:30 am a 11:00 am in the dining room on the first floor and there’s a mini fridge in the room for leftovers and to keep drinks cold.

There is an outside patio on the ground floor by the reception area were guests can enjoy a complimentary cup of espresso from the tea-coffee station and wine can be purchased in the evenings. There’s also a service of light meals and picnic baskets guest can order in advance. Laundry service is also available.

The only minus is the lack of a pool. Other than that, this is a true oasis with lovely hosts. Both Gabriela and Gisela (who also bakes some killer desserts for breakfast) went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Definitely a place I’d like to return!

The most beautiful hotel in Sao Miguel! Amazing interior, great breakfast and super friendly staff! We had an early flight so we wouldn't be able to have breakfast so they made us a breakfast bag to go and hung on our door. If we come back to Sao Miguel this is the place we are staying at!

The place is unique. We were told that used to be school before. The rooms are big with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Our bathroom was smaller, but, what we like it, had a bigger shower cabin. Rooms are clean as the entire B&B. Mattresses are more hard then soft, but provided to us a very good night sleep. A solid variety items for breakfast including daily fresh fruit. For coffee lovers 24/7 Nespresso coffee available. At the end, people working here are extremely friendly and try to accommodate us in any aspect.

Stayed at Casa do Pateo for 9 nights with my family and we were so impressed with all of it! The interior is modern, clean, spacious, and design/decor is absolutely beautiful. The staff was always kind, attentive, and made our stay very enjoyable. Great downtown Ponta Delgada location with parking close by.

Loved this hotel!! The rooms are huge, very well kept, and beautifully decorated. The free breakfast is served everyday from 8:30-10:30 and is very good. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location that is walking distance to many restaurants in Ponta Delgada. There is also street parking nearby. Lastly, the staff are very welcoming and helped us with things like finding a taxi. Definitely recommend!

Really unexpected little gem in the centre of Ponta Delgada. Our room was absolutely beautiful and huge! Really lovely modern aesthetic with some lovely old, authentic charm. Breakfast was lovely and great that they gave us a to go baggy on a day we couldn't make it. Highly recommend!!!

A very nice hotel in a great location, but kept waking up in the middle of the night due to the sound coming from of a cabaret right by the hotel that is open all night long! Not great for light sleepers or ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at, which is saying a lot! The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were informative and thoughtful. Breakfast was amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer.

A hotel with a very distinct character. Very nice rooms, super service and charming atmosphere. Top standard. If you look for the special place to be, thid is an excellent choice. Very convenient location in the city center.
