When you book a hotel from a distance of 1,400 miles away it is always a crapshoot. But..we got lucky this time. The rooms at the Glunz are clean, the staff is very friendly and the location is superb. The pool is heated(which is not always the case in Florida in March) and the hot tub is just the right temperature so you can lol around for hours(about 97 degrees). In addition, the Glunz has a sandy beach which is perfect for making sand castles with the kids. If you book, make sure to get a seaside room. Even though it may cost a little more, you get a fabulous ocean view vs. a crummy view of the parking lot. Well worth it!!

This place is amazing. We took our two kids age 5 and 7 for six nights. We had an oceanfront beach level suite with kitchen. The room was spotless but the best thing about the resort is its small size and convenience. The beach was right outside the door and the pool was a few steps away so the kids could “wander” a bit and go to and from the room and we felt very safe. The pool is heated and the kids spent hours in it daily. Service at the restaurant can be slow but we were on island time so we didn’t mind! We liked having the convenience of the restaurant and enjoyed the live music from our patio in the evening. The sunrises were magical. I can’t recommend Glunz enough and we hope to go back next year!

Rooms were clean, and comfortable. The beach was sandy and quiet. Great location if you want to be in a central location to see everything thr keys have to offer.
