Hotel is in a beautiful location and has a beautiful pool. The room itself was very nice. However, it needed to be refreshed. Broken tile in the shower with pink mold that needs to be scrubbed. And the furniture was very very worn down. The bed and pillows were comfortable but I was shocked at the ripped and worn down chairs, considering that we paid almost $900 per night. Management didn’t seem the least bit concerned when I expressed my disappointment over the ripped furniture in our room and dirty shower. Also very difficult to find chairs by the pool as people wake up very early to claim chairs and then leave their towels lying on the chair for the entire day, while they are out doing other activities. They also had s’mores every night from 8 to 9 PM but by the time we arrived every night at around 8:30 they were either out of chocolate or out of graham crackers. we enjoyed the food at all the restaurants and the beach side servers were wonderful. Hotel had live music throughout day and evening which was very nice.

Beware booking groups.
Once a group is booked, Marriott will give you the run-around in changing your reservation. I just spent over an hour speaking to four different people none of whom could assist in correcting our travel dates.

Very disappointed to say the least. I never write bad reviews but here’s a long one. Hotel is nothing like the pictures, the only good thing about it is the beach. Booked it for 4 days, upon arriving the young valet boys were very slow, one of them went inside and we had to unpack our own bags, then even after paying for valet he proceeded to park our car in the back at the self park.. Rooms are FILTHY! Upon arrival Our room had sand all over the floor, couch was stained and dirty , bathroom glass was disgusting, bathroom tiles had pink mold all over, the glass sliding doors had smudges on it as well. We called and were switched to another room which was slightly cleaner but still filthy & had BED BUGS ! The ceiling fan full of dust as well as the sliding door, the bathroom mirror full of dust again and the bathroom tiles still dirty.. We called for extra towels and pillows and a lady arrived with just towels, we then asked for pillows, she giggled and walked away saying she’ll be back and came back with pillow cases ! At this point I’m really annoyed, I nicely said we requested 4 pillows and she proceeded to laugh and ask “why” my mind was blown… After some back and forth she came back with only two pillows and I just gave up at this point. Pillows are horrible, bed isn’t so comfortable. Day 3 we asked for our room to be cleaned up, when we come back we had no towels and our sheets weren’t even changed, all she did was make the bed and leave the same dirty, sandy sheets, floor was still filthy… Also, my 2 year old had an accident in the pool where she pooped in her diaper and some of it came down her leg and was in the pool, we notified a staff he said he will take it up with a manager and the pool was never closed.. they let everyone swim in feces I was disgusted ! That’s the last time we used the pool. The food is alright nothing crazy, buffet breakfast is overcooked and over priced. They don’t even have a water stand at the lobby and the one they do have is by a shop and they charge for it. The staff besides house keeping was great, and the beach is beautiful but other than that this hotel is very crappy and I will not be back. Oh ! Forgot to mention the carpet through out the building was filthy through out the stay, paint chipped off the wall and on the floor, corners full of dirt. Ugh it’s a rip off !

first time taking the time to write a review, but the uncomfortable experience we had and the worst costumer service given to us needs to be told. There is a lady named Yolanda that works at the resort, she treated us so badly that she made us feel discriminated. She should not be part of the hotels industry with that attitude and rudeness towards hotel guests.

The service is very poor! Had to wait 3 hrs for our rooms , front desk staff was very poor, food service is very slow and way over priced for the quality. They are not trained for service considering what they charge for the stay. You’re better off staying at a best western and going out. Then you know what your going to get for the money.

Front desk, Denise (?) front reception should look at you when answering questions.

Fritz is AWESOME! Kind, service oriented and personable. He went on a hunt for popsicles for my kids and it made their day.

This is our second year staying at Playa Largo and our last. The pool was filled with inconsiderate screaming kids (my 11 & 13 yr old were annoyed as well). The rooms are not as clean as I would expect for $800/night. There are not enough pool or beach chairs. It also doesn’t help that the hotel sells pool day passes. For the money we spent, we were definitely dissatisfied and will not be back.

Wonderful, serene resort with truly exceptional service. Plenty of activities are available nearby but you could also easily spend a week without even leaving the resort.

The rooms are spacious, clean, bright. Large cozy bed. Large clean washroom with a beautifully big walk in shower. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash smell soooo good. Nice sized balcony. Love the wristbands as a room key, much more conducive to resort life.

The property is lovely: 4 full service restaurants, one large pool with perfect morning and afternoon sun but also nicely surrounded by trees for shade options. Hot tub beside the pool. Steps from the sands/beach. Additional lounge chairs provided on the beach just for guests of the resort. Nice walking/nature trail bordering the exterior of the resort. Free water refill stations, free daily wellness smoothies.

Las Olas is great for tapas and cocktails, fun social lounge with a terrace. Sol by the Sea had a fantastic local menu with plenty of healthy options, ideal sunset views. But the Sandbar was our fave- nice poolside snacks and drinks menu plus a nightly sunset event with live music and custom feature cocktails.

Taylor made our days by the pool even more perfect, what a beautiful soul- he's like a second sun out roaming the pool and providing the best service + energy dose. We had the great fortune of meeting Seda on our final sunset at Sandbar, my gosh what an incredible human. She provided the most upbeat, personalized service. Wish we had another day for more Taylor and Seda! Thank you for these two.

Always welcome drinks! I had my daughters wedding at Playa Largo, very happy with the attention to details and the service and the food was excellent! Special thanks to Sahily it was a pleasure to work with you.

The room had one window with zero view due to the over grown trees, the pool is full of kids screaming throwing things and no one bothers to say it’s basically an obnoxious kids playground on the website. Never again. This is the most annoying resort I’ve ever stayed at. So much for relaxing.

I had a day pass to the resort and it was one of the best decisions i could have made. I felt so welcome and got to participate in the eventide event to watch the most beautiful sunset. The staff was excellent as well, hector, Ashley, and rose made my experience unforgettable. Definitely excited to come back.

We loved the beautiful private beach and the amazing sunsets. Great food, great property, and amazing staff. They went above and beyond for us, especially Nick! He's the best!

We came here for our honeymoon, and I am so glad we did! We had such an incredible time between the amazing dining, breathtaking views, and generous staff. We’d like to highlight a few people who made this experience a 10/10

Absolutely beautiful resort. I had a major issue with the shower door, and maintenance manager, Ken came and resolved the issue quickly and kindly. He deserves a raise! Very professional staff and the resort was very enjoyable! Sunset views on the dock are to die for! Thank you Playa Largo!

The BEST hotel in the Florida Keys! The beach, the vibe, service, and food! Everything is amazing! They do dinner buffets by the beach at night, live music, painting and crafts for the kids by the water, s’mores at night! Absolutely phenomenal. We love coming here!

Christina, Sandra and Armando went out of their way to make our pool and AquaBana experience awesome!

Loved the whole Thai Chili Snapper at the Sol restaurant. Outdoor service was amazing and the beach is just gorgeous.

Interior housekeeping service was just ok.

Overall, it is a repeat vacation spot! Key Largo and surrounding area is fun with great restaurants nearby.

Nice resort with what you expect. Rooms are adequate and comfortable. Beach and pool area great to sit around.
Cons would be the service at the restaurants. Went to both and waited 30 minutes for someone to.come over and they were not busy. Ended up leaving each. Parking at $25/car is steep. If the price is right, I'd consider it simply for location but otherwise will look at some other options

We were there yesterday with a group of 18 and had a day pass! It was beautiful the pool cabanas were nice! The beach was beautiful with hammocks and loungers! We are big drinkers and eaters on vacation Christina and Tyler stayed on top of our group! They were so amazing! Whatever we needed they supplied! Drinks were cold and food was awesome! We stayed for the bomfire on the beach which was amazing at sunset! Love this place we would go back to stay! Thanks to all the staff that made it great! We didn’t stay in a room so I didn’t mark it for stats!

Perfect day! The water cabana was awesome. Pool and hot tub were great. Service was impeccable. Good atmosphere and drinks. Food was very good. What made the day perfect was Sandra. She made our day great. Checking in on us. Chatting with everyone and just good vibes all around. We look forward to our next trip!
