Oh my goodness!! This place is great! We wanted something a little different and this was it!! Hans is great and a lot of fun. Service was excellent! Clean place. Great pancake breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

I was looking for a more warm and inviting place to stay in St. Augustine this trip, and the Pirate Haus Inn was even better than I expected! The location is ideal for taking in the town, and indeed almost becoming part of the town while you are there.

My room felt larger, more substantial, and more comfortable than the pictures and other reviews capture. Even though things are wonderfully whimsical, there is also a charming old-world solid feel to the place that I loved.

If you want the warm welcome and homey feel of a bed and breakfast, but not the cost and pretentiousness, this is the place for you! I can't wait to come back next year!

Great family experience at a great price! Our host Captain Hans was a lot of fun. She is great to talk to and is fantastic with the kids. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again in the future. The kids really had a good experience.
