RIVERDALE INN

We stayed in this lovely home last week for one night for the Tim McGraw Concert. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and had a magical experience. The historic home is so beautiful! It’s located next to a nice Park that is on the St John’s River. The staff was so great and the breakfast was delicious! Best place ever to stay at!! So relaxing! When visiting Jackson FL this is definitely the #1 place to stay at.

We checked in to the Riverdale Inn this afternoon. It is in a great neighborhood close to the river. There is parking on site and you can walk to the local neighborhood attractions and restaurants. The bathroom is amazing in our room and the bed is so comfortable.

A couple of words come to mind flawless and love. I met with Mary-Mychal in late August early September to tour Riverdale. This part was a no brainer. I love historic homes and the stories they hold. Riverdale is over 100 years old and has been restored to painstaking detail. It feels very cozy and inviting. Mary-Mychal and Eric (owners) are absolutely lovely. Easy decision..
The room we chose was the Roosevelt Room. Windows and hardwood floors are GORGEOUS. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom area is also gorgeous.
My officiant was Dwayne (HIGHLY RECCOMMEND). He is such a lovely peaceful individual. We spoke the night before to review our vows. He is so reassuring. Immediately at ease.
Flowers were delivered day of. I wasn't very specific other than asking for a pink rose and a gerbera daisy for my grandmother and my fiances mom. They had passed years ago but I still wanted to honor them. I wasn't expecting her to be able to get them due to the time of year. They were in the bouquet!!
Reception food was expertly crafted. Well seasoned and beautiful presentation. Chef Eric truely outdid himself. Due to dietary restrictions of some of our guests we chose a more protein heavy menu. The chicken satay was amazing!
From Mary-Mychals expert level coordination to Eric's craftsmanship of our menu and Dwayne and Sydneys love and peacefulness and just being friendly ears to listen. Thank you fron the bottom of our hearts. You truely made this a special moment that we will definetly treasure.
