I booked a double queen and got something different. Had to argue with the front desk for a while. They kept saying it’s a booking from a third party for a standard room not a double queen. Then got switched to a smoking room. Disgusting. There’s no water fountain. Carpet is dirty. Bed springs make noise on contact. Bathroom door damaged. Door frames damaged. Feels like I’m in a crime ridden neighbourhood
The rate wasn’t even that cheap. There’s much better choices out there that’s closer to universal
Worst decision yet on hotels.
Oh in addition we found a cockroach on the floor and I had to kill it.
-Roaches (in room and dining area)
-mold smell in rooms
-disgusting carpet in rooms
-dark color schemes in room and old furniture
-water damage cover up everywhere
-missing security latch on hotel room door
-Homeless people constantly roaming the parking lot and seem some check in too
-Main daytime check-in lady isn’t friendly (seems to hate her job and everyone that checks in)
-Different to get out of hotel area during business hours and night peak times
-Malfunctioning toilet that ran all night
-shower leak onto floor (craziness)
I didn’t expect a lot for the group rate paid however what was presented there was and is unacceptable. I knew better… Orlando and some surrounding areas with the main attractions near by have extremely beat up hotels that are not properly maintained. Nice Airbnbs or highly rated bookings at the elite resorts are the way to go for this area.
